Hearing

Background

Hey guys! So I had a few of my friends read the story and try told me it was a little bit confusing. I agreed so here is some background.

Jessica and Joey's dad left when Jessica was two. He then later came back and their mom thought it was a good idea to get remarried. So they did and then the dad left again.

Also most of the time Jessica is signing, but if she is talking I will tell you. And Jessica has hearing aids that let her hear vibrations, and she can read lips. With the two together she can somewhat hear.

Sam is Jessica's neighbor who's whole family is deaf. They were born deaf. Sam, Jessica, Sam's family, Austin, and Cassie all go to a deaf and blind school

Finally, Jessica and her family aren't rich and they aren't poor. But with only their mom, times are tough.
