After this eventful morning I decided I might as well get cleaned up. I grabbed a fairy dust coated towel and shook it as the tinkling bell sound of the dust fell to the ground. I looked out the window that Peter flew out of to see the Lost Boys fighting about how big the house should be and just fighting to fight. Their giggles and screams rang through Neverland and I felt a well needed smile escape from my lips that Peter Pans lips once lay. I sighed with relief and happiness.
I decided to look around for a bit for some kind of water system, a pond a lake a lagoon for all I care. Just so I could get cleaned up after a massive feast and walk through the forest. I took off my fuzzy socks and started to climb down the tree. I ended up missing the last step and falling straight down with a loud thump. Silence. I expected little Jack or Alexander would run over but luckily no one heard. I got up with a quite painful moan and ran off.
After walking for a few minutes in one direction marking trees with rocks so I could find my way back I found a small beach that seemed prefect for a quick bath. I sat for a few minutes making sure no one was around. I walked the length of the small beach only to find some beautiful shells and no sign of life. Only echoed screams of the lost boys and singing of birds. I decided I might as well strip and get this over with. I took off my sweater shirt and skinny jeans and grabbed the towel, still with a mild fairy dust sparkle. Next thing I know my clothes are in a pile on the nearest rock and I'm swimming in the lagoon of Neverland. The water was as clear as glass and was kissed by the sun not cold at all. Everything about this place was beautiful. I washed the makeup off my face or what was left of you and dunked my head under water. Letting the water fall down my face and I decided that was enough. Before I got out I decided to swim for a bit. Look for fish or shells or something. I heard something. A very quiet, not so innocent giggle. I looked back at the shore which was about 10 yards behind me. Another higher pitched giggle rang through the water. I thought about the story and settings in Peter Pan. Shit. Mermaids. I found myself swimming as fast as i could back to the shore but the giggles got louder and louder and I found hands grabbing at my feet. I thrashed around in the crystal blue water trying to shake the mermaids off of me. Then there was silence. There was no giggles just the reflection of multicolored scales swimming deeper into the lagoon. I looked around. Nothing.
Realizing I had been here for quite a while as the sun was straight above me I walked grabbed my towel and went to the nearest rock, and there was nothing there. Nothing, just a normal grey rock. Great, I thought, mermaids nearly drowned me and now some mysterious thing took my clothes, how cliche. A bra and grey and blue underwear lay there. My skinny jeans and sweater were no longer bathing in the bright Neverland sun. I panicked. I slipped both pieces of clothing and wrapped my exposed body in my towel and started to walk back thoughts floating through my mind.
Maybe Tinkerbell took them, I officially know she hates me and has an evil little demon heart, maybe it was pay back for Peter being mad at her. None of the Lost Boys could have taken them as they were back building my house and they would never. Peter is nowhere to be found and has no clue where I am. Tinkerbell, it's been decided.
I walked back slowly and quietly hoping no one would notice. I thought about the mermaids and how this is basically happening just like the story. The past day had been a blur.
Peter Pan has a broken heart and I have no clothes.
I made my way up the ladder hair dripping from the bun of my massive amount of hair. I walk in looked around, and on the hammock that was once laying in a heap on the ground is now hanging back up. There is now a Vans Warped tour 2012 bag on it. I walk up to it looking around unsure of what it is and open it to find clothes deodorant my iPod and the Peter Pan book that once rested on my feet as Peter Pan looked out my window into the twinkling London sky. I chose not to question it and save the pondering for later. I slid into a pair of my favorite shorts and a big grey sweater shirt. I found a pair of my old worn out vans in which I couldn't get rid of due to the fact they had been through so much, I couldn't.
In the bottom of the bag I grabbed a brush and took my hair down and parted it and scrunched it as much as I could. How did this get here? I mean this is basically my favorite outfit, my fully charged iPod, brush and green vans I haven't worn for months because my mom wouldn't let me. No one but me even knew where they were. I stopped in mid thought as I heard the familiar creak of bare feet on wood floors.
At first I was nervous. Not knowing who it was I didn't move. I realized, it's only Peter, I turned around and was greeted by no other but Captain Hook.
