Meghan
"How could you do that, Meg?" He whispers. The entire room is dark, I'm standing in the center with absolutely nothing around me.
"How could you do that to me?" He says, the voice growing louder all around me.
"How could you do that to Sebastian?!"
My breathing picks up, my hands shaking as I try to pinpoint where his voice is coming from.
"I'm sorry!" I yell back, "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking!"
"WHY DID YOU DO IT, MEGHAN? WHY DID YOU SLEEP WITH HIM?!"
"I'm sorry!" I scream, sitting up in bed. My hair is sticking to my forehead from how sweaty I am, my hands are shaking in my lap and my breathing is so ragged that I can't get a full breath in.
"I'm sorry," I say between sobs, "I'm so sorry."
"Meg?" Sebastian raises his head from his pillow, looking at me sleepily. His eyes widen once he takes in my tear stained face, and in one swift movement he's sitting up and I'm wrapped up in his arms.
"Hey pretty girl, what happened?" He murmurs against my hair, running a hand up and down my back soothingly. I bury my face in his neck, letting Sebastian's signature smell invade my senses.
Leather and mint with a hint of lemon.
My breathing is still coming out in short pants, so I bring a shaky hand and rest it on Sebastian's chest, right above his heart. The rhythmic beating under my fingertips helps even out my breaths. I let my fingers dance across his skin, and I feel his heartbeat quicken under my touch.
I like that I have that effect on him.
He brings his hand up, taking mine and bringing it up to his lips before placing a soft kiss on my knuckles. I close my eyes and let out a shaky breath at the feeling, relishing in how it radiates warmth through my entire soul.
"Are you okay?" He whispers, forcing me to open my eyes and look up to meet his worried gaze. He uses his free hand to push a strand of hair behind my ear, since his other one is still holding tightly to one of my own, and that's when I see the bandages.
"Seb, what happened to your hand?" I ask, leaning back and taking hold of it in my hands. He winces when I try to move his fingers and I look up only to be greeted with a sheepish smile.
"I uh- I may have dished out some justice last night after...." he trails off, his eyes focusing on my neck.
Oh.
"I'm so sorry," I whisper, tears beginning to form. Sebastian shushes me, wrapping his arms around me again before placing a kiss on top of my head.
