The next day, Jeremy and I were re-building the store.

“So how long have you and John been going out?” Jeremy asked.

“About three month and a half.” I said.

“Ah” he said.

“What?” I asked.

“Don’t Turn around.” Jeremy said. I did anyways and found John kissing some other girl.

“Jeremy. I’m going home.” I said. I turned around and ran home.

John kept calling the next few days but I wouldn’t answer. I couldn’t. Then one day the girl John kissed showed up at my door.

“John is mine.” She said.

“Whatever” I said, trying not to cry. She slapped me across the face.

“What the heck?” I said. She slapped me again and I just lost it. I punched her in the face which knocked her over and she fell off the steps.

“I don’t care if John is yours. I don’t want him.” I said. “Stop!” John called out.

“I’m not going out with you Rachel and I never will.” He said.

“But that kiss?” Rachel asked.

“Oh you mean that thing where you kissed me and tied my hands behind your back so I couldn’t push you back.” John said.

“Oh really” I said as I came down the steps.

“I won’t stop that easily. John, you will become mine if it’s the last thing I do” she said as she got up and ran down the street. John turned to me.

“Baby. I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have let that happen.” He said.

“No it shouldn’t have happened but I think it’s more her fault than yours.” I said.
