Pete's POV
His voice was always my favorite sound, only it took a break and a solo album for me to realize it. I'll admit to myself that when i picked it up and brought it to the counter to pay for it i had butterflies raging in my stomach. The first time i listened to it i had no control over the huge grin plastered on my face. It has become a daily ritual for me to listen to it everyday, i even downloaded it onto my phone just in case i was not home one day.
It had been months since I had talked to him, i really missed him but i did not know how to approach him, did i ask him out for coffee or ask him to talk? I was not really sure of anything at this point except that i was completely infatuated with his voice and i wanted to hear it speak to me directly. I was so deep in thought that i almost didn't realize my phone was ringing, i scrambled to grab it and looked at the name, "Trick". I hesitated but picked up,
"H-Hello?"
"Pete? Is this still the right number?" A smidge of worry in his voice.
"Y-Yeah, i-it is. Um, Hi."
"Are you okay? You're stuttering."
"S-sorry i just, wasn't expecting you to call."I was mentally slapping myself.
"Oh, is this a bad time? I just wanted to see if you could meet me somewhere to talk, not now of course, i mean... unless you can." I could hear the nervous tone in his voice and for some reason it made me a little less nervous.
"Well, i'm not busy now?"
"l know, I'm outside your old apartment, i can see you through the window."
"Creepy as hell dude, are you stalking me?" I said looking out the window.
"I missed you." He smiled as i watched him approach my door. He hung up the phone and knocked on the door. I went to the door and opened it before being engulfed in a hug. Butterflies were no longer restricted to my stomach, i felt tingles in every spot my body was touching his.
When he pulled away, i smiled at him and tried not to look too disappointed, "I missed you too."
(A/N: Hi, short start, sorry. I am not sure how this is gonna end but i kind of have an idea. I dont know if i should make this a two shot kind of thing or a complete chaptered fic.)
