Arabella clutched her wolf to her chest and rolled over, groaning as she came in contact with the ground. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, looking up and pouting when she saw Alexander holding back a smile.

"It's not funny." She stood up and ran her hands through her hair, glaring at a now laughing Alexander. When he calmed himself, Arabella raised an eyebrow at his attire. He was wearing a nice grey, button up, with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, a black bow tie tied neatly around his neck. Nice, black dress pants held at his waist with a black, leather belt.

"Um, why are you all dressed up? And why do you have a dress in your hand?" She watched as he handed it to her.

"My love, you are meeting the pack tonight." Her eyes widened and she gasped, suddenly becoming nervous.

"What if they don't like me? What if I'm not pretty enough? What if-" Her rambling was cut off by a delicate kiss from Alexander.

"You'll be fine. I promise you. They are going to love you. They must, you're the future Luna, and I the alpha. If they have a problem with you, they can cry all they want, because it is you that will be helping me lead this pack." Arabella sighed and went to their bedroom to change.

The dress was a light brown, white lace forming the top of the bodice. Sleeves that went down to the elbows and stopped at the waist, a light ribbon wrapped around the lace near her hips, flowing out softly to her feet, a slight slit in the under skirt where her leg could slip out, but still slightly hidden from the outer layer. She slipped on a pair of black flats and put on some light makeup before meeting Alexander at the staircase. She saw his jaw drop slightly and blushed at his reaction.

"You look beautiful, Arabella." She closed her eyes when he kissed her forehead and they head to the backyard together, arms linked and all eyes on them. Arabella began playing with Alexander's fingers in nervousness and she smiled gratefully that he didn't say anything about it as they sat by his father at the front table.

The omegas and some of the females began serving the food and Arabella frowned when an unmated male made a move one of the omegas and she struggled to get away. Arabella's claws dug into the table as she watched the scene unfold before her, no one doing anything. Alexander placed a hand on her thigh, keeping her still and she growled lowly. She glanced at Luca and saw the same expression on his face, the anger evident as he shook with rage. She removed Alexander's hand from her thigh and stood up. All eyes snapping to her except the man groping the poor, innocent omega.

"Get your filthy hands off her." Arabella growled and gripped the man, throwing him out of his seat. Surprised at her strength, she gasped and stared at her hands. The man stood and rose a hand to hit Arabella, but a hand shot out and the man was back on the ground.

"You dare raise a hand to hit your future luna!" Alexander growled. Luca rushed to the omegas side, wrapping her in his arms and whispering the one word that surprised them all.

"Mate." The omegas eyes widened and she fell into his embrace.

"Don't you ever touch an unmated female again, ever." Arabella regained her confidence and growled at the man. "Women are not for your pleasure, get that in your thick skull you ungrateful piece of shit." She punched him in the nose and he groaned. She turned to approach the omega, balling in Luca's arms.

"She's just a stupid omega, they're weak and useless, just like you...kitten shifter." The man sneered. Luca growled loudly and cuddled his little mate into his arms closer, hiding her from the man's view. Alexander growled and then smiled wickedly at the man on the ground, holding his now bleeding nose.

"Arabella, darling, come here." Alexander beckoned for her to come to him, and she hesitantly did so. He wrapped his arm around her waist and turned to the rest of the pack. Arabella began to shift nervously, unconsciously gripping onto the back of Alexander's shirt.

"Alexander...what are you doing? I-I thought we were going to wait." She looked up at him nervously, closing her eyes when he placed a quick kiss on her forehead to reassure her.

"Arabella is now a part of this pack, as well as her best friend, Luca. Arabella is also your future Luna, just as I am your future Alpha. It is true, she is a kitten shifter, but she is the daughter of the Alpha Lion and Lioness of her pride. She ran away, for the sake of our bond, coming here for protection, for me, and for all of you. Whoever," They both turn around the man, Arabella glaring daggers at him and her claws extending. "Disrespects my mate, or any of the omegas, will be sentenced to death or banishment. But tonight? For you, Alvarez, my dear mate is going to have her way with you, along with Luca, who I'm sure is seething with rage at the fact that you touched his mate." Arabella gasped at the thought of her hurting someone, but she knew he deserved it. She heard Luca growl in response, appearing beside them with his mate hiding behind him.

Cheers erupted from behind the group, causing them all to turn around. Arabella was surprised when they bowed to her, yelling for their luna to say something. Arabella swallowed and took a deep breath, grabbing Alexander's hand before speaking.

"Omegas are not weak, just as I am not. I may be a kitten shifter, but I was raised by lions. I'm just as strong and fierce as any of you are. Omegas are runts are they not? But what about Wilbur? The runt of his litter? I know, a stupid pig has nothing to do with this, but who made it to Christmas with what strength and courage he had? Wilbur did, and I promise you, when Alexander and I are your Alpha and Luna, omegas will not be treated like shit. No offense to your Alpha now, I doubt he knew how bad they were treated." She gestured to Alexander's father and he nodded in confirmation, a torn look on his face as he looked at the omegas of his pack before standing.

"She is right, we have treated you all with disrespect...I have been a terrible alpha to you omegas, and for that, I am truly sorry. From this moment on, omegas will be treated with the utmost respect because not only do they deserve it, but they help keep this pack together...as a whole. Omegas," he called to each of them to step forward. "Gather your things, you are moving into the guest rooms tomorrow morning, and finally becoming a true part of this pack." Arabella smiled when they all looked at her with gratitude. She turned to the girl from before.

"I'm Arabella." She smiled and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm Stacy." The girl smiled and bowed her head.

"No no no, there's no need for that. You're my best friends mate, and no longer an omega. You bow to no one." Arabella laughed when she was engulfed into a group hug made of the new members of the pack, or the old omegas.

The night progressed on, Arabella talking to the omegas as if they had known each other for decades, battle plans being made for the upcoming war, children laughing as Luca played with them. Everything was going great, and the night turned to dawn, everyone beginning to head home for a good nap before returning later for training. Alexander appeared beside Arabella while she was talking to Stacy and finally ushered her away back to the house.

Arabella sighed when they reached their room, kicking off her flats and letting her dress fall off her body to the ground. Alexander chuckled as she pulled on one of his shirts and wiped off her makeup in the bathroom. When she came out, Alexander was waiting for her on the bed. She crawled under the sheets and let him pull her close.

"My feisty little kitten, you did great today." She sighed in content when he nuzzled his nose in her neck.

"Thank you, but I couldn't have done it without you there with me." She released a yawn and hooked a leg over Alexander's hip and cuddling closer to him and she let her eyelids droop closed, plunging her into a dreamless sleep.
