Kimi's POV~

It's been a few days since I started living with Kazuma and let's just say things have been interesting. For instance, when Ayano first found out she exploded. Yeah...she was yelling threatening Kazuma that if he ever tried to pull any funny business with me she'd kill him. Of course, in return, Kazuma just had to shoot a comeback, which resulted in the two of them getting into another fight. That was fun to deal with, please note the sarcasm.

Today Kazuma was out with Ayano taking care of mage business, which meant I was stuck at the house out on my own. I let out a bored sigh as I sit on the sofa while looking at the ceiling. 'This is so boring! I literally have nothing to do!' I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a knock coming from the front door. I get up and open the door to see a short blonde boy with green eyes. "Um hello, miss. Is Kazuma home?"

"Not at the moment. He left a few hours ago," I answered. hearing my response caused the boy to frown. "He shouldn't be gone too much longer so if you would like you could come inside and wait for him," I offered, giving him a smile. He smiled back and replied with a thank you before entering the house.

"My name's Ren. I'm Kazuma's little brother," the boy said sitting on the sofa. 'This cute thing is Kazuma's little brother?! He's adorable!'

"I'm Kimi. It's nice to meet you!" I beamed. "Kazuma never said anything about having a sibling. Come to think of it he's never spoke of anyone in his family," Ren laughed nervously.

"Well that's because when he was younger our father kinda disowned him since he wasn't able to use fire magic like the rest of us. I am a little surprised he never told you since you're his girlfriend," His words brought a deep blush to my cheeks.

"I-I-I'm n-no-not h-his g-gi-girlfriend. W-we're j-ju-just fr-friends," I explained flaring my hands.

"O-oh, I'm sorry. I just thought since it looks like you're living with him that you two would be a couple," he apologized. I let out a soft giggle.

"It's alright. Kazuma's letting me stay here since I'm in a sticky situation at the moment," I said. After that Ren and I talked about small things like school and our hobbies. Pretty soon the front door opened revealing a semi-annoyed Kazuma. "Oh Kazuma, you have an adorable guest,"

"Ren, what are you doing here?" Kazuma asked looking over towards his brother. Ren stood up walked over to Kazuma and gave him a serious look.

"We need to talk. It's really important Kazuma," Kazuma sighed and motioned his brother out of the room so that they could talk in private. Once they finished, the two came back into the room and Ren walked over to the door. "Good bye, Kazuma. It was nice meeting you Kimi," he said before leaving.

"You're little brother is so cute!" I squealed. Kazuma simply chuckled at my actions.

"Sounds like someone has a crush on a twelve year old," he teased. This caused me to break out in a fit of laughter.

"Not even close. Way too young for my taste," I exclaimed still giggling here and there. Kazuma walks over to me and cups my cheek.

"Good. Because I don't like sharing," he then leans down and kisses my cheek. Well, let's just say after that my face was cherry red. The brown-haired male chuckled and walked away, leaving me dumbfounded and completely shocked. 'Did that just happen? Did he really just kiss my cheek? I-I-I th-think I-I'm j-ju-just g-go-gonna g-go t-to b-be-bed'
