"Lucy," I whispered in her ear, "I love you," I said boldly.
She stayed motionless, why wouldn't she wake up? She's been in a coma for three whole days! This was the first time I confessed my love to her.
I looked at her, there was blood smeared on her face and her hair was cut like Lisanna's. I was worried about her, would she wake up?
This is the worst state she been in yet.
Her fingers twiched for the fifth time today and the thirty first time this week. Yes, I counted, I haven't even left her side for a second.
The monitor started beeping faster, what was happening? I studied her face. Her eyes fluttered open, brown met onyx. It started beeping even faster, "Nat-s-tsu, I-I, l-l-love y-you t-too," the monitor let out one single beep and the line went flat.
What just happened? Wait, was she dead? What was the wet substance on my face? Why was it becoming hard to breathe? Why was everything so blurry? Was it possible to die of a broken heart? The last thing I saw was a flash of silver and scarlet in the door.
