Little do you know, how I'm breaking while you fall asleep. Little do you know I'm still haunted by the memories. Little do you know I'm trying to pick myself up piece by piece.
In Alia's mind, Tom Marvolo Riddle was snogging a mousy haired random Slytherin girl with skin problems. In reality Tom Riddle was kissing a mousy haired, plain Slytherin girl. Alia immediately recognised her as Alicia Carrow. Carefully, Alia tried to sneak back the way she had came. That was until she heard a voice snap, "Get off me vermin! I'm done with you!" That was Tom. Alia heard some shuffling and then she guessed that Tom was alone. Again, she tried to shuffle away, but a hand grabbed her wrist.
"Now, now love. Where do you think you're going?" Tom's cold, harsh voice spoke up. He gripped her wrist, making her flinch and turn away from him. "Away from you, if you would just let me go Riddle!" Alia cried out, only angering him further. "Oh no, you interrupted my fun," he muttered as he shoved her into the nearest wall, making her wince once more. "Let go Riddle!" Alia cried out as he pushed her into the wall, his hands on either side of her waist. His deep, piercing eyes felt like they were looking straight into her soul as he looked her up and down, stopping at her neck. Alia sucked in a breath.
Slowly, Tom's hand moved to her pale neck, brushing away a part of her hair. His hand was cold but gentle; Alia melted at his touch. "Don't forget about our arrangement Waters," Tom whispered in her ear as she shivered, he had never been this close to her before. "And remember, we have our duties tonight," Tom finished. As he pulled away he swallowed, his adam's apple bobbing. His hand moved to stroke a piece of hair out of her face as she tried to move away from him, finding only the stone cold wall. "I'll meet you at the entrance to Ravenclaw Tower, good day Miss Waters," were Tom's final words before he stalked away, leaving Alia gasping for breath.
The rest of the day passed in a blur; all of Alia's thoughts centred around the patrol she would do with Tom later that night. Would he be so angry again? Or would he be kinder in the dark? When the time finally came for her to meet Tom, Alia slowly walked out of her common room. Unable to see Tom anywhere, Alia decided to walk on by herself.
Suddenly a cold hand made itself around her mouth. Alia tried to cry out but found she couldn't. The body of her capturer held her back as she thrashed against it. "Waters chill out, it's only me!" Tom cried as he held on to her body, tiny and frail compared to his muscular form. "Riddle! You scared the life out of me!" Alia cried out, wiping hair out of her face. "Oh dear, what a shame, I don't think I will ever forgive myself!" Tom's sarcasm was hilarious, making Alia chuckle.
"Come on, Waters, lets patrol," the tall boy muttered as he began to walk. Alia had to run to keep up with his pace. Noticing this, he slowed down. "So, you and Alicia?" Alia questioned. Tom glared at her. "Just because I kiss someone it does not mean I am with them, and besides she is too ugly for my liking." Tom sounded mad. "Well, I recall someone once telling me that you're supposed to like someone for their qualities, not their looks." Alia sassed. Tom looked furious now. "What about you, I saw a couple of the Slytherin boys eyeing you up this morning." Tom tried to make her uncomfortable. "Really? Well, I'm not interested in them." Alia smirked. "Well then, who are you interested in?" Tom pressed another question onto her. "Why are you so nosy? And if you must ask, no one."
The rest of their night passed like that. Questions, sarcasm, limited answers. Naturally, they were both fine with that. Although Tom did get a bit riled up when Alia had taken her sarcasm too far. She had never seen him so angry. In the end, he had shoved her roughly into a wall. Alia was sure that there would be a mark. At ten o'clock, Tom had walked Alia back to Ravenclaw Tower, made sure that she got in, bid her goodnight, and that was that.
