Part 37: Mate?...

{Jason's Pov}

"I dont really like kids, but your an exception since you're the nephew of the greatest person in the world" I say kissing my nephews forehead as he sleeps in my arms,

"I remember when your mother and I were younger, well not your size since your a baby and I only remember my past from when I was 6" I say with a small chuckle while walking around my sister's bedroom rocking my nephew slowly in my arms,

"Your mother was a fighter growing up, trust me, everything she had that I wanted she would end up fighting me for and I never won for some reason" I say with a chuckle sitting down while looking at his small head leaning on my chest,

"Your mother can survive anything, that's what your grandmother said when me and your mother got into fights for small things. I think she said it because she knew I could never win a fight with your mother" I say with a chuckle as I laid him into his crib,

"Goodnight buddy" I whispered kissing his forehead before walking out of his room which was guarded by two of the strongest male wolves in our pack,

"What do you mean she's not okay?!" I hear a loud voice shout as I turned to see my father stomping down the hallway with anger radiating off him,

"What's wrong pop?" I ask confusedly as he continued walking and I followed,

"Your mother was drunk and had your sister kidnapped by a fucking blood sucker and now she's being looked over by the pack nurse" he says as my eyes widened,

"Is she okay?" I ask as we walked out of the castle towards the pack nurse building,

"Your sister was raped by a vampire king son, do you think she's okay?!" He asks sarcastically pushing the doors open as I froze,

"Don't worry, they killed his pale ass before we can get our hands on him but all I care about now is if your sisters gonna wake up from being unconscious" he says as we walked past the pack nurse and into the room where Kadens parents were leaning over the bed that had my sister in along with my mother on the side crying and Kaden holding onto her hand as if she was gonna slip away any minute now,

"She's going to be okay Alpha, she's just going to be sore when she wakes and you'll need these medications to help her body become the way it was before since the penetration of the vampire king has caused some of her vital organs to malfunction. Her wolf is going to be off limit for a while until she can reconnect with it again but other then that she will be fine in a few days" The pack nurse says handing Kaden some pills and medicine as he nods while keeping his eyes on his mate,

"This is all your fault!" Kaden's father snapped at his fault as she turned to him with wide eyes,

"What do you mean my fault?!" She shouted as my mother turned to the Alpha King angrily,

"Don't yell at her! It wasn't her fault!" My mother shouted as he glared at her,

"Your right, it's both of you guys fault!" He snapped before my father pushed him aside,

"Don't yell at my wife! Your wife was the reason they left!" He shouted as I rolled my eyes at how childish they were acting now,

"Shut up!" A powerful voice shouted as we all turned to see an angry Kaden glaring at the surprised parents looking at him,

"It was all of you guys fault for letting her go out there! Now get out! Your all giving me a headache!" He shouted with a loud growl as they looked at him with shock before exiting the room,

I stood there quietly watching him hold my sister's hand while staring at her with worry and sadness.

"I love you" He says kissing her hand while holding onto it tightly as I noticed how much love he had for my sister before I walked out of the room,

"Sorry I didn't s-" before the person behind me could finish a unfamiliar scent hit my nose as I turned to see a slim girl with red hair standing still as her green eyes stood still looking at me in shock,

"Mate?" She asks confusedly as the sweet chocolatey smell coming from her grew more making my wolf happy,

"What's your name?" I ask looking over her body seeing her wearing ripped blue jeans with a white shirt and white converse,

"Pamela, what's your name?" She asked still shocked as I chuckle,

"Jason" I replied before noticing we were the only ones standing out in the hallway of the pack nurse building,

"Where were you going?" I asked looking at my watch seeing it was almost midnight,

"My brothers wife just had a baby and I was going to get her some food from the store. You wanna walk with me?" She asks nervously as I smirked,

"Sure, and on the way we'll get to know each other a little better chocolate chip" I say walking past her as she followed me confusedly,

"Chocolate chip?" She asks looking at me strangely as I chuckled before turning to her with a grin,

"That's what you smell like, and I bet that's what you'll taste like" I say winking at her as she blushes,

"But we'll get to that later baby, let's get some food and talk some more mate" I say wrapping my arms around her as she froze before letting herself relax on my body.
