The Proposal

Hey guys, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope you like this part! I'm sorry it's such a big time skip, but I still hope you like it, and this is gonna be a two part short story! Also I'm sorry since this part is kind of short but the next part will be longer. :)

~10 years later ~

Lucas's POV
So I asked all the boys to come to my house, the first thing this morning. I already told El, so Max went over to her house for a 'Girls Day' so I have time.
The boys came over, and I told them.
"I wanna propose to Max."
"Yay!" Will said.
"About time!" Dustin added.
"Yea! What do you need help with?" Mike asked.
So I told them my plan.
"So like.. and then... I will have to..."
The boys agreed with my plan, and we went to buy the things I needed.

Eleven's POV
So a few days ago Lucas reached out to me and told me that he needed me to keep Max occupied today, so I called her yesterday, and asked for a girls day, of course she said yes! So she came over to my house, and I had a bunch of things planned for us!

Max's POV
Eleven asked if I could come to her house for a girls day today, and obviously I said yes so I went over to her house, and the whole day we basically watched movies, we went for a spa, shopping and so much more girly things! Sometimes I'm still surprised by how girly she can be, even if I'm a bit girly too I guess. We got our nails done, El got pink nails with gems, and I got dark blue nails.
Then we went back to El's house and she made a Eggo extravaganza for us. I still can't believe that she's still obsessed with eggos, but I enjoy them too so it's fine.

Mike's POV
I'm so happy for Lucas, Max is defined going to say yes!! We spent the whole day buying the things Lucas needed for his perfect proposal. Once we almost bumped into the girls! But they didn't see us, thank god.
Lucas bought the most beautiful ring ever, Max is gonna love it!
There was kind of a mess up when we were buying the stuff, but Dustin fixed it.
Then Max was almost going to go back home, so we quickly went back to Lucas' house and we set everything up. It was so beautiful, I'm pretty sure Dustin was crying.
Well we had to leave, because Max couldn't see us, obviously, I wished Lucas good luck and went back home.

Max's POV
It was 8:00pm I spent the whole day with El, and I missed Lucas, so I went back home.
"Hello?" I shouted. "Lucas!?"
The house was all dark, and it seemed like no one was home, so I put down my stuff and walked into the living room. It was pitch dark, and I couldn't see anything.
"Hello??" I asked again, not a sound.
I switched on the light to the living room and gasped.
"Oh my gosh!!"
