Chapter 1

Jayden
I decide to start my day off by having a shower. First impressions are everything.

I crawl out of my bed, then pick an outfit for the meeting. I had time to sleep in so its only around ten in the morning.

I bring the clothes downstairs to the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I undress out of my boxer shorts and singlet, as well as undergarments. I step into the shower, the warm hair running down me.

Once I'm done doing what I need to, I turn the taps off and step out. I dry myself off, doing other things everyone else does. Then change into my outfit that consists of high waisted shorts, a striped crop top, and metallic grey boots.

My hair is mid-length so I just decided to leave it down, and straighten it. I apply some light makeup, since I never sleep in it and don't want it to be a shock when I'm on tour with them.

I wear some of my rings, and a loose bracelet. I dust off the imaginary dirt off my thighs, then look in the mirror. My stomach growls, reminding me to eat breakfast.

I walk to the kitchen. I don't want to eat anything too big so I just have Nutella on a piece of toast. As well as an orange juice to go with it.

My mother walks in, which surprises me because I thought she is still out of town.

"Jayden? Why are you up so early?" she laughs, walking over to me. I stand up, stuttering.

"I uh, didn't know you were coming home today. I thought you were coming back in a few weeks?" I ask, hugging her. She hugs me back.

"I wanted to be home while you're still on holidays," she smiles, kissing my cheek.

"I might not be doing the last term," I begin, "I have an interview in a few hours."

"For what?" she asks curiously. We both sit down so I could finish eating.

"His name is Ethan, Ethan Dolan. Himself and his brother are big social media influencers and they need a photographer," I shrug.

"That's great sweetie! When is your meeting?" she asks. I turn on my phone, looking at the time. 12:54.

"I'll leave in an hour tops," I tell her, biting the last piece of toast.

"Well, good luck and you look gorgeous," she smiles while standing back up.

"Thank you!" I call out to her as she walks up the stairs.

"Don't forget to brush your teeth!" she calls back. I nod, although she can't see me.

I drink the rest of orange juice that filled my cup, swallowing the pill that controls my period.

Luckily, I didn't have to worry for a few more weeks.

I walk towards my car, which is a black Jeep. I bought it not too long ago, with my own money. I worked at a small cafe for a couple of weeks so I could afford it.

I play some music through the auxiliary cord. I just press shuffle on my "Morning Motivation" playlist.

The song, Stronger by Kayne West comes on. I dance a little to it.

Half way through the song, my phone starts ringing. I stop at a red light, pulling my cord out of my phone.

I answer, "hello?" I say, putting it on speaker and resting it on my thigh.
