Chapter 5

Jayden
"You're what?" I ask, as the corners of my mouth curl up.

"Don't get excited, but your dad, Tristan, and -" my mother goes to explain.

"You are going to Canada for a week!" I squeal, then cover my mouth.

"Jayden!" she laughs, slapping my forearm.

"Sorry, I just, I get the whole house to myself!" I exclaim, jumping onto the couch.

"Jay! This does not mean you can invite those boys over!" she instructs.

"But," I groan, "them and Finn are my only friends."

"That's not true, Peyton?" she questions.

"I guess, but she's across the other side of the world," I sigh, remembering her.

"Not exactly," I hear her voice speak up from the hallway.

"What!" I yell, shocked. I sprint over to her, tackling the poor girl in a hug.

"I missed you!" she yells, squeezing me.

"Oh my gosh, puberty hit you like a train," I gasp, looking at how beautiful she is.

"Are you kidding? Look at you!" she gushes, pushing me off her.

"Alright so we leave first thing tomorrow morning. So you have tonight to set up Peyton's things in the spare room," my mother tells us.

"Why can't she sleep in my room?" I ask.

"Ew no," Peyton laughs, joking.

"I suppose, just want her to feel comfortable," my mother says, putting her hands up in defence.

"Thank you," I say, indulging her in a hug.

"Go get yourself settled, dinner will be ready soon."

"So, you're this hottie's photographer?" Peyton asks, amused.

"Yep," I nod, laying down onto my bed beside her. She scrolls through his Instagram account on my phone.

"Have y'all hooked up yet?" she smirks, wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"What? No! That is so unprofessional," I say, taking my phone back.

"I was kidding," she sarcastically covers up.

"Wanna meet him and his twin?" I ask, feeling bored.

"Tomorrow?" she asks, intrigued.

"Yeah, but try keep your hands to yourself," I laugh, rolling over.

"Well let's go to sleep, we have a big party planned," she winks, causing me to laugh.

"We can't, my parents said no people," I sigh.

"Yeah. Your parents also said no twins..?" she giggles.
