I actually slept last night. I felt pretty pleased with myself. I got dressed and grabbed my bag. I'm gonna get a friend today....I hope...I got a message from Marah I little bit before the bus got here.
Marah: Hey (y/n). 🙃 Can't wait for today. See you at school.
I replied instantly.
(Y/N): Yeah. Me too.😋
I put music on and put my earbuds in and texted Marah about today until the bus pulled up to the school. I was smiling. I could tell I was. When it came to going to class. Marah was with his friends. Marah doesn't like showing his teeth because they're not perfect. But Marah was smiling. He couldn't stop smiling. I felt a weird feeling in my chest whenever he smiled. Kennedy took the hint I was smiling and occasionally looking over to him and got Marah's attention.
" Hey Marah. (Y/n)'s looking over and stuff. Is anything going on? " Kennedy said. Marah looked over at me and smiled, I smiled back and my stomach fluttered like butterflies were eating me inside out.
" No. Just hanging out after school. " Marah said. Olivia looked at him.
" Ooo! Someone's got a boyfriend. What happened to Taylor? " Olivia was smirking. I blushed and Marah did to.
" We're not dating. Just cosplay stuff and wanted to make a friend. And Taylor's my best friend. " My stomach dropped like all the butterflies dropped dead.
" Marah we don't support liars. " Ken said poking him.
" We're not dating okay? " Marah said blushing. I blushed.
" Well (y/n) over there is pretty red. You are too. " Olivia chuckled and the bell rang. Saved by the bell. I got to my locker and grabbed my things. I went to the front of the school and Marah was waving.
" (y/n)!!! I'm over here! " Marah was smiling.
" I didn't see you with all the waving. " I said chuckling now we were walking to a nearby elementary school to go on the playground. That's where we said to go this morning.
" Real funny (y/n). " Marah said rolling his eyes playfully.
" Fine, tag. " I tapped his shoulder and took off running to the playground. I want Taco Bell. I was able to run all the way and up the slide before I was caught. We were both panting and smiling.
" You run fast. " Marah said and I looked at him.
" Wanna get some Taco Bell? I'm hungry... " I said and I seen Marah light up.
" Yes! Let's go! " and just like that, Marah took off running. I giggled and run after him. I don't see shadows and scary stuff around Marah when it's just us.
