(30)~||Missing Him||

Things had started changing eventually....
He shared the biggest happiness of his life with her at first and she was overwhelmed by his reaction.... It directly touched her heart.... The man who doesn't care about anyone feels her this important to share his happiness with him...

Now the project had started... His biggest dream... His dadaji's dream project which had eventually turned his now... The reason for him joining the Goenka industries...

So much of work.. Leaving early morning...coming late night... That was going to be his daily routine from now...

The sun rays hit her face making her wake up with a bright smile and she turned towards the other side of the bed to find him missing...

Naira- Ye Kartik itni subh subh khaan chla gya...

She woke up from and looked around to find his office bag missing too...

Naira- Lgta hai office chla gya hoga.. vaise bhi nya project hai to kaafi kaam hoga...

And she went downstairs after freshening up and saw Swarna already in the kitchen....

Naira- sorry Mom... Vo uthne mein thodi der hogyi...

Swarna- Are nhi beta... Vo Kartik hi aaj bhut jldi office nikal gya... Uski Kuch important meeting thi project ko lekar...  Aajao.. tum breakfast krlo tb tk...

Naira- Jee mom... Aap bhi aa jao...

And both had their breakfast...

It was already 9pm on the clock and she was simply pacing to and fro in the room waiting for him... She hadn't seen him since morning... Neither had she called her thinking what he would think... But still the urge to see him was growing too much... She didn't had her dinner saying she wasn't feeling hungry.... But the reason was Kartik... Had he eaten something.... Why was he this late..... He usually came early from office... But then thinking of the new project she would chuck the thoughts and wait for him.... Finally she sat on the sofa tired... not able to walk anymore...

He had a lot of meetings to attend.... A lot of files to be checked upon coz he himself took a charge of everything not relying over a single employ in his office... He didn't even let Mr. Goenka or Rahul interfere in this... Naira... She was the only one whom he was thinking time to time while doing his work.. How difficult it was for him to untangle her petite figure from his body early morning.. She moved in sleep.. not feeling his presence... And he slowly placed a small peck on her forehead and unwillingly left for office.... He hadn't called her thinking the situation would turn out awkward... And then... What would her say her...? 'He is missing her...' No... He himself wasn't ready to accept the fact...

It was already 8 on the clock and it had been more than 12 hours since he had seen her.... But his work... He couldn't  neglect..... Hurridly he wrapped up all his work and headed towards home by 10... She might have slept.. why would she wait for him... That's what he thought....

He reached his room... The lights were off in the house.... Everyone had gone to their own room.... But his room's light was on... He went inside and looked around seeing the most beautiful sight ever....

She was cutely sleeping on the sofa in a sitting position hugging the cushion and he went all aww on her... Her hair strands fell over her face... She was uncomfortably lying on the sofa but not to forget looking too cute...
He removed his overcoat and went to her... He sat infront of her and stared at her beautiful face removing the hair strands that fell over her face... Carefully he picked her up from the sofa and made her lie on the bed and her sleep broke... (Comeon.. let's be a bit realistic... Chloroform sungh k ni soyi thi sherni..😂😂 Koi uthayega to uth jayegi..)

Naira- Ahn... Kartik.. tum kb aye.. aur itni late hogya... Sorry.. vo mujhe pta ni lga main so hi gyi.. 'She said in one go and before she could speak further he kept his finger on her lip..'

Kartik- Main just abhi Aaya... Aur office mein kaam zyada tha to thoda time lg gya..

Naira- Oh.. Tumne dinner Kiya.. Chalo.. main tumahre liye dinner lga deti hun...

Kartik- Aur tumne...

Naira- Vo... Vo mujhe bhukh nhi this... Vo..

Kartik- Sh.. Chalo... Saath mein dinner krte hain....

And they went downstairs and they together had their dinner... Later kartik sat on the sofa working on his laptop...

Kartik- Tum so jao.. main bs thoda kaam khtm krke sota Hun...

Naira nodded her head and laid on the bed but sleep was still faraway from her eyes seeing him work this late... She knew he needed some rest... It must already be a tiring day for him... She was time to time stealing glances at him when she noticed him holding his head and giving a light massage....

She looked at him getting up from the sofa and checking the drawer.. maybe looking for some medicine for headache but he didn't find one so he sat back on the sofa working on his laptop until he felt two soft hands on his forehead.....

He turned around to see her softly massaging his forehead.... Her hands were making him feel relaxed....

Kartik- It's ok Naira... Rehne do... I m fine...

Naira- isiliye drawer mein medicine dhundh rhe the naa... So jao... Bhut Der Hogyi hai... Tum pure din mein thak gye hoge naa.... 'She said while continuing the work she was doing..'

He smiled and turned off his laptop and held her hands and then went to sleep.....
