(34)-||On a guilt trip?||

The sun shone brighter.... Spreading its lights through the window onto the couple snuggled close to each other... In each other's arms after the most passionate and maybe the most memorable night of their lives....

Naira's POV-

I opened my eyes smilingly to find myself perfectly wrapped in his arms.... I snuggled more closer to him... Hiding my face in the crook of his neck... I felt peace there... I felt completed... My heart... My heart was at peace... I was feeling different... So different....

I tilted my head upwards to look at him... His lips were curved into a smile as mine.. I adored his face for a while... He is mine... Yess... He is mine....

And I realised.... I was in love with him.... I was in love with Kartik Go......

I couldn't complete my words... I was completely baffled... I was shocked..... I wasn't in a state to react..... Even more I realised our position.... We did it last night... Noooo.... How could... It was me... I recalled the incidents happening since yesterday.... I had completely forgotten everything..... How...???

I became numb.... Didn't knew what to think.... Everything froze at the moment when I realised what I just said.... Couldn't react anymore.... How could I.... Love... Noo....

POV End..

She was completely numb... Not in a state to react... Neither her heart nor her mind was at a stable position....

He slowly opened his eyes and bought her more closer to himself... she didn't resist.. she wasn't in such a state.. she was just numb.... His hands ran through her back... And then he dug his fingers slightly into her waist...  He looked at her and simply smiled.. she looked beautiful... in his arms....

She looked at him... Still in her own world.. and then got up wrapping the sheet around her... But he held her from back... Holding her from her waist... She gasped as he seated alongwith her his lips trailing her neckline to her back...  She felt those shivering sensations...

No.. she didn't felt his touches to be sin... She didn't felt his touches to be wrong.... But instead..  her heart and mind were at a conflict upon why she didn't feel it to be a sin....
How could she push herself into this... 
How could she loose herself to him....

No.. her heart wasn't at a guilt... Becoz it had already fallen in love with him... Her mind forced her to think.. He was a Goenka... One of those from whom she had come to take revenge....

How could she forget this...????? How could she let her heart overpower her mind....??????

He pushed her more towards himself kissing her neck... She was once again loosing herself to him... He tilted her face to his staring at it... She was lost in his eyes.... He caressed her cheek with his knuckles when he bought his face closer to her.... She could again feel those hot breaths soo close... Soo closer....

He was about to capture her lips but she turned her face away... No.. she cannot do this.. she immediately realised... But he was not in a mood to leave her.... He wrapped his arms around her waist resting his chin on her shoulder... Her bare back touching his bare chest.... She closed her eyes... A tear escaped from the corner...

He was taking it too far... She wouldn't be able to stop herself if it went that far again... She tried to resist.... As he again started kissing her body..... But he didn't stop....

It was a call from his office..  his phone rang again.. bringing her out of her thoughts while he continued with what he was doing.... "K..a....r...t..k.. off...I...ce...." She managed to take out those words from her heavy throat.. she could cry at any moment...

It was a call from the office.. so he had to attend it... And seeking it to be an opportunity she immediately ran to the washroom wrapping the sheets around her....

Tears brimmed her eyes with the falling water from the shower as she stood beneath it.. she was not in a state to think something... Everything simply seemed to be blur... Everything simply seemed to be too scary.... Every part of her body had engraved his name within..

Everytime her eyes would come to a rest a fresh set of tears formed... He is her enemy right..ok.. he isnt.. But his family is.. And he is one of those.... How could she imagine a fairytale with him..?? Did she become soo selfish...??? How could she dream of a happy life with him... When she knew they weren't meant to be.. they could never be..... Atleast she thought that...

"Naira... What's taking you soo long.... I can come and help becoz we are out of time.. we need to return back..." He shouted for the 5th time.. this time more louder in his mischievous tone though....

She heard him this time... Her trance broke and she realised it was long since she was sitting here.... Under the shower....

She came out wearing a beautiful off shoulder dress and he was simply mesmerized seeing her.... He stared at her for a few minutes until his steps started moving towards her.... She looked here and there... Trying to avoid him... She came closer.. she moved backwards... And finally it was her back hit the wall and he got a chance to trap her...

Her breaths turned uneven and she tried moving away....

"Kartik plzz..." She let out a silent wisper....

"Are you ok.." he asked backing off and she simply nodded...

"Tum ready ho jao... Fr hme jaana hai.." she said not meeting his eyes and left the room...

The drive to GV was silent....
A smile on his face and she was lost in her thoughts.... Basically... Thoughts of him....❤️❤️

A hard battle going on between the heart and the mind... Let's see who wins..???
