(31)~||A mini honeymoon?||

Late nights... early mornings... Kartik just got too busy with the project.. It was merely they got time or merely they faced each other the entire day...

Her mind became disturbed.... She was not missing yet missing him... He would come soo late for office that most of the times she slept sitting waiting for him.... it was only in the morning that she would find herself comfortably lying on the bed but again.. He was missing... Early morning office... she was happy that he was doing all the hard work he could to complete his dream project but then again sad at the same time as they barely got some time to spend... of course she had started feeling comfortable around him... Happy with him.... from the last two days it was difficult for her to spend the entire day... she couldn't think of anything but him...

On the other hand... He knew he was soo busy with the project and he wasn't able to give her time... but... he couldn't help it... the dream was more important obviously... he would find her asleep waiting for him... and he would simply pick her up making her lay on the bed placing a peck on her forehead and then himself lying besides her.... Where his heart was at peace....

Swarna... the best mom in law anyone could get... naira was a daughter to her.... She knew she was sad from last two days.... Kaira had barely spent time together.... Neither had they gone to a honeymoon nor had they spent some good time with each other.....

Well...
It was Saturday morning....
Naira woke up as much early as she could to prepare breakfast for him... She woke up and saw him besides her sleeping in a sitting position with a file in his hand.... Oh... so he was busy working the entire night....

She immediately placed the file aside and made him lay to a comfortable position covering him with the blanket..... and he held her hand in sleep... she struggled to go but couldn't as she didn't want to wake him up...
She tried one more time to get out of his grip only to fail miserably... finding no other option she just laid beside him and he wrapped his arm around her waist getting more closer.... His breaths on the nape of her neck.... She was feeling...........

An hour of sleep and he slowly opened his eyes to find her perfectly fitted in his arms... She was awake... awake from the last one hour staring at his face... thinking nothing...

Before she could look away his eyes already caught hers... keeping a firm hold not letting them divert their gaze... it was a long intense eyelock... their faces were just inches apart.... their breaths mingled...... just a cm of a distance and his stupid alarm clock rang.... Damn... why did he even set the alarm....

She immediately diverted her gaze and got up from the bed rushing to the washroom to get ready for the day...
And he laid on the bed cursing the stupid alarm clock and himself for setting it.... She got ready and came out.. without meeting his gaze.... Setting her hair she went downstairs to prepare for breakfast with swarna.....

The duo set the table and within a few minutes he came downstairs decked up in his suit ready for office... He came and sat with naira at the breakfast table.....

And here naira tried as much as she could not to meet his eyes and he noticed it....Suddenly she felt some tickling sensation on her feet... she looked at him... he was smiling mischievously... His feet fiddled with her she moved her feet away..... he again moved his feet to hers and this time she stomped her foot on his...

'Ou..' Came out of his mouth while she tried hard to control her laughter... swarna looked at them in amusement making a questioning face...

'Kya hua Kartik...' Swarna asked....

'Vo kuch nhi mom... vo... cheenti... haan cheenti thi neeche... chinti ne kaata.. bs isiliye... aur kuch nhi...' He managed to figure out an excuse at the moment.....

'Acha vo sb chodo.... Mere paas tum dono k liye ek chota sa surprise hai...' Swarna said happily....

'Surprise...wow... btayiye na mom..' Naira asked excitedly.....

'Kuch khaas nhi hai beta... main bs soch rhi thi k shaadi k baad tum dono khin ghumne bhi nhi gye... aur abhi Kartik k project k kaaran tum dono ko time bhi nhi milta.. to tum log is aaj shaam ko hmare city k outskirts vale farmhouse chle jao..' Swarna said making naira shocked and Kartik... no expressions well...

'But Mom.....' Naira was about to say something when she was again cut by swarna...

'Ahn... No ifs and buts' beta.... I m not going to take any of your excuses... tum dono aaj shaam ko jaa rhe ho mtlb jaa rhe ho... and ye mera final decision hai..' Swarna said smiling

'Ohk mom... mujhe koi problem nhi hai... Hm log chle jayenge... naira ready rehna..' Kartik said smirking and swarna left from there leaving a nervous naira behind...

'Hayee... main to kb se iss pal ka intezaar krr rha tha...' He said in a mischievous tone in her ear coming extremely closer to her and she couldn't help but be more nervous....

He left for office and she lost in the wierd thoughts...

'What.. main aur Kartik akele... Aise kaise... I mean... Oh.. Naira... Kya kya soch rhi hai... Prr dar lg rha.... Nhi nhi.... Naira..... Ugh... Whatever... Ab jaana hi pdega....' Naira blabbered to herself until he came back and placed a peck on her cheek.....

'Aaj jldi aa jaunga office se... Ready rehna.....' Kartik said smirking and left for his office....
