Chapter 24:

"Baby?" I felt someone shaking me slightly.

"Mmm" I hummed slightly, suddenly feeling a pain shoot through my shoulder, "ow, shit"

"Babe! You had me so worried, i was about to call an ambulance" Jack said, gesturing towards his phone in his hand as he puts it on the floor, picking up my weak, trembling body, "don't worry baby, I've got you." He places me on the bed, wrapping me in the duvet and getting into the bed next to me.

"What happened?"

"I don't know baby, you just passed out. You were out for a few seconds. It probably got too much" He looked at me, emotion filling his eyes, "I'm sorry"

"Why are you sorry? It's not your fault. If anything, it's mine"

"No" He takes his hand into mine, "do not blame yourself. He's a psycho"

"You got hurt" I cry lightly, observing his cuts once again.

"I'm fine" he shakes his head, "I'm more worried about you. He really hurt you." I shrug. "Let me see your stomach"

He lifts up my top slightly, making me wince in pain, biting my lip to distract myself from the pain.

"Oh my, y/n" He shakes his head again, and I can see slight tears in his eyes. "What did he do, you've got bruises all over your stomach"

"It's whatever"

"No it's not. That's not right. Hes not finished with, I promise that"

"Jack you've already punched him enough, I'm sure" I laugh lightly.

"Not near enough." He sighs, "I love you y/n, get some rest, it's late"

"I love you too"

And with that, I fall asleep in the arms of my amazing boyfriend, the one person that makes me feel protected from anything.
