Chapter 6 | New Years ❤️

Tracer POV

Christmas has passed! I didn't get anything important but orange circle glasses that I'll be wearing everyday now. It was New Years Eve and my friends, including Amélie, were going to drive to a hill near an ice cream shop to see the fireworks coming from a theme park. I was excited! Well then, right now I'm waiting for my friends to pick me up. I snuggled into my hoodie and rubbed my nose with a bandage. It was pretty cold out but that wont stop me.
    HONK HONK
   "Get in loser, we're going shopping!" Hana laughed. "JK!! Just hurry it up slow poke!!"
     I hopped into the heated car and slouched, shaking like a damn vibrating phone or something!!
     "Gosh l-love, its cold. Amélie can I share t-the heater." I shivered.
    She turned to me slowly and aimed the heater to me.
     "Aw, thanks love." I sighed slowly. I glared at her and smiled. Of course, she has a straight face with no emotion. I look away and relax until our stop.

    "FINALLY!!!" Angela yelled. "Ill go open the trunk if you guys want to sit there.
    "Angela, you're so helpful." Hana giggled. "OH ANGELA!! LETS GET SOME ICE CREAM!!" She shouted.
     I watched them skip away and giggled. I decided to talk to Amélie, who was snuggling up in a blanket making herself into a ball, because Im not going to sit here with my best friend in silence.
      "So Amélie...." I said.
She poked her head out the blanket and gave me a, "hm?"
     "You like Jazz?" I laughed.
She took an arm out and shoved my face back.
      "Damn you."  She mumbled while shaking. "What time is i-it."
       I took out my phone and looked at the time.
      "11:56, love." I said smiling.
She sighed.
      My phone vibrated and it was a text from Hana.

Hana: Will you do anything for me noob?
Lena: Yeah of course!
Hana: hehehehhe!!! Kiss Amélie dork once it hits 12:00!!"
Lena: WTF NO!!!!!
Hana: You suck. I guess your not getting the fifty dollars I owe you.
Lena: UGH!!! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GIVE THAT TO ME YESTERDAY!! UGH FINE YOU MOTHER FUCK!!!
Hana: Ha!! YES! Hey the line for the ice cream is taking forever but im craving it so we might be a little late ;-;
Lena: ugh okay.

   I grunted and slammed my phone down blushing. My nervous thoughts got interrupted by a strong accent.
     "You okay Chéri?"
I started to shake and took alook at the time. Shit. Its 11:59. I'm poor as fuck! But its only a little kiss! It's worth the fifty dollars so I dont care.....I'm lying. I do care. Im way too ner-

   "10! 9! 8! 7!-"

GOD DAMMIT!!! I was heating up so much. B-But I need my Fifty dollars!!!!! UGH FUCK IT!!

   "3! 2! 1! HAPPY NEW YEARS!!"

    Fireworks shot everywhere. I grabbed Amélie's face and pulled her in for that damn fifty dollar kiss. We stood in that same position until I shot my eyes open when noticing she tilted her head to deepen the kiss AND was kissing back. Now that scared me so I pulled away and pulled the strings on my hoodie to hide my face. I curled up in a ball and screeched. I took a small glance at Amélie and she was frowning. She grabbed my hoodie like a bully would.
      "When you do that again, dont fucking hide chéri. I want to see your damn face."
      She yelled. Amélie gave me one last peck and slapped the side of my head, making me jerk sideways.
       "OW!"
Hana and Angela came running towards us.
      "OMG WE ARE NOT LATE!!" Hana gasped.
      "Its finally January 1, 2018!!!" Angela yelled.
    Amélie looked at me and rested her head on my shoulder. I stood still while Hana looked shock and lip sync, "you actually did it?"
     I nodded and rested my head on Amélie's.
     "Damn you Hana." I said.
I hugged Amélie, Angela, and Hana. We watched the last bombs of fireworks and carefully drove home.

    Finally, Angela dropped me off at my house. I turned to see the beautiful french girl walk towards me. She stood there, again with her straight face, and suddenly gave me a big hug. She let go and kissed my cheek softly.
      "Au revoir chéri~"
She walked into the car and they drove away. I stood there......and fangirled outside of my house.
      "Ugh what is life? Im tired...im talking to myself...."
    I quickly run inside.
