Wide Awake

Here I am writing.
At exactly 1 am, I am still wide awake.
And for me, it is writing a new beginning.
I do not know if what am I supposed to be doing.
I do not know if what is really inside my mind that I want to talk.

Yes, I am wide awake.
But no, I am not going to bake.
And not going to break.
Not this time. Yes, not this time.

You know what I mean?
It says all the things that I have been.
And you're acting now that you are clean?
Gosh, stop being mean.

It's really hard to say.
But look, I am here wide awake
And I decided to pray.
Praying that one day you may,
not cause the same pain again to another person's feelings
the way you did to me before.
Because just like me,
I am no ordinary but really a special being.
