Chapter Four

It was finally Saturday and I was really happy because Jacob promised that he would make his infamous breakfast buffet if ever I had friends over, naturally I laughed at the condition but now I was as happy as ever and especially now that Raven and Penny(she said I should call her that instead because it was shorter) agreed to come.

I slipped into my favourite flower dress that was thigh high but not to high and my and my pink sweater that worked as a fluffy jacket and a pair of black sneakers, satisfied at my choice I went downstairs, to be honest I secretly wished the guys weren't staying for the weekend because now I had

to be stuck on kitchen duty. "Eres vestido hasta" mama said raising an eyebrow but I scoffed and kept washing the dishes "Good morning Mrs Hernandez you look quite dashing as always" a quiet raspy voice came from behind

"Oh James good morning, your quite a charmer" mama blushed, I rolled my eyes and continued washing dishes of last night "So James how is your mother and father" mama asked as she began to pull

the kettle off the stove "They are quite alright" he replied, I could feel someone staring at me and I was very uncomfortable at the moment the door bell rang     and I went to answer it, luckily it was Penny and Raven

"Hey girl, how you doing?" Raven said as she took of her hat "Surviving" I shrugged "Mama son aquí" I yelled before mama summoned Jacob to make his world famous breakfast special "You look pretty, are you dressing up for someone in particular" Penny said wiggling her eyebrows but I just rolled my eyes

"No, I decided to dress up for you guys since your the first people that came to see me and not my brothers" Penny began to pout and hugged me "Don't worry we'll always be here to pay you conjugal visits"

I giggled and led to the kitchen in less than an hour we headed to the living room and snuggled to the couch as we began to watch the Fresh Prince Of Bell Air reruns, "What are we watching?" James said next

to me "The Fresh Prince" I shrugged "Hey aren't you supposed to be with Kyle and Jax?" I asked but James shrugged and said he got bored of playing air hockey

Penny chuckled "Your bored of everything" James rolled his eyes and stretched his arm over my head and hit her softly and left his arm out stretched behind me Raven raised her eyebrows and nodged

Penny who was already making faces at me but I ignored them.

"Hey would you like to go the mall?" Penny asked as we switched off the TV "Ya sure what's the occasion?" I asked just to receive a surprise look from Penny and

Raven "Uhm there's no event we're just going to the mall" Penny said "Oh" "Besides we're going to the food court" Raven said,like it wasn't a big deal"I'll ask

mama if I can go" i said getting up "Mama puedo me ir para el mall con Penny y Raven?" I asked mama and to my surprise she agreed and the icing on the

cake was when she gave me money without doing extra house choirs.

"Could you close your mouth your drooling and it's unladylike" James said with a raised eyebrow "Su correcto smiley" mama said wiggling her finger,

we had an excellent time and I honestly wished it wouldn't stop but as papa would say 'all good things had to come to an end'.

On Monday I was excited to go to school because Mr Wilson was given us a test and I was prepared for it

Kyle on the other hand wasn't in fact he hated me for

being happy about it but I didn't care, "Come on you guys would be late" I groaned as my brothers sluggishly ate their breakfast "Look we are having family time" Jax explained as he slurped his tea

"Don't worry I could take you" James offered but I wasn't getting in a car with him so I gently declined

"Hell no"( in his case that's gentle)  "Hey aren't you supposed to go home?" I furrowed my eyebrows "I'm

going to school from here" he shrugged "Nice to see you two talking" Sebastian said as he made a plate for

himself "Ya well, I've still gotta go to school" I said looking annoyed at my brothers "Let James take you" Sebastian suggested "Or I'll simply walk to school" I said as I made my way to the door "Oh come on let me take you" James insisted as he was holding on to

my wrist I considered my current situation and agreed, to be honest I loved his car it was a black  Camry quite small couldn't help but wonder how he

could get busy in such a space "Like it?" James asked noticing the way I was looking round "It's OK" I shrugged, as I looked out the window I felt someone's eyes on me then I turned round James was paying more attention to me than the road which was very

unsafe "Do you mind looking at the road, I'm not planning on dying today" I scolded him "Well I would

but I'd rather focus on you" he said gently before winking at me I rolled my eyes and began to say my last prayers seeing that this might be my last day on

earth but in the middle I couldn't help but notice James chuckle which resulted in him getting a punch on the arm "Hey I'm driving" he said but I raised my eyebrow and scoffed, to my surprise we had arrived

unscathed which I might count as a

blessing

"Aren't you going to thank me?" he asked raising an eyebrow, I just rolled my eyes "If rolling your eyes were an Olympic sport you'll take the medal" he mumbled without the intention of my hearing it

but I did which caused me to giggle which earned me a stare for I chilled in his car because I wasn't planning on looking like I arrived early even if we did "Aren't you getting off?" James asked me as he raised an eyebrow at me "Don't feel like it" I shrugged

And with that he began "So what are you having today?" James asked as I hopped out and quickly headed to my first class in order for him to not make conversation with me.
