Avery's POV
He yelled out in pain but with one punch to the temple, I knocked him out cold.
"Are you okay, Avery?" Xavier asked putting his hand on my shoulder, but all I saw was red.
I grabbed his arm and twisted it painfully behind his back and shoved him against the wall.
My anger was taking over me, I couldn't control myself. No... I'm turning into my demon. Turn back Avery!! Fuck! You need to gain control back!
I tried, but to no avail. I was out for blood, I need to taste it on my tongue.
I grabbed Xavier by his neck and slammed him on the wall repeatedly. The smell of his blood drove me over the edge. I just need one taste... just one.
Xavier noticed my eyes and his widen for a second before growling at me. His eyes turning pitch black as well.
"Avery, Black Rose." he whispered as he got out of my death grip with ease. Xavier..
I looked up with tears in my eyes and let him go at the speed of light, "I lost control" I whispered. I lost control.
"It's alright." He hugged me.
"No it's not. I could have killed you." I pushed him away from me, afraid I'll do something I regret.
"You can't kill me, I know you won't. Come here." He chuckled. He said as be brought me into his warm and strong arms.
"I love you." I whispered scared of his reaction. But I know he heard it.
He took a sharp intake of breath which caused me to hold mine captive. How was he going to react?
"You love me?" He tilted my head up towards his, I could see the pure happiness in his eyes.
I looked away shyly but nodded.
"Avery," he titled my chin up so I can look him in the eye.
"I love you too," he whispered before smashing his lips to mine.In that moment, I felt complete.
Trevor walked in and interrupted us, "Av, we have a problem." His voice serious.
My back tensed and I nodded for him to continue.
"The prisoners have escaped." He states slowly afraid of my reaction.
Xavier growled out loud and made his way to Trevor. Survival Mode: On.
No one messes with my family.
I ran to stand in front of Trevor and let out a heart stopping shout. Not even Xavier can hurt my family. Even if he's the joy and happiness of my life, no one, no one, hurts my family.
He glared back feeling challenged.
But you know what they say, fear makes the wolf bigger than it seems.
I wasn't scared of Xavier, no dear. He, is scared of me.
I dug my feet into the floor, standing my ground as I made my shoulders broader, my eyes turning darker and into slits.
If we wanted to play Alpha and Omega, he has another thing coming for him. I'm no Omega.
My stance was challenging his demon to fight me and die or walk away and live. He had no choice but to back down.
I've made a name for myself over the years, everyone knows my gang, my fighting ability, and not to mention, my killing without mercy and hesitation spree.
Xavier backed away slowly still glaring at me but backed off.
Xavier's eyes turned back to normal and so did mine.
I turned around to question Trevor but when I did, I saw that he recorded the whole thing on his iPhone.
He raised his finger, signaling for a moment for himself and he burst out laughing, wiping the tears caused by his obnoxious laughter.
He typed away on his phone before looking back up at me, my phone buzzed in my pocket so I pulled it out to see a notification for our group chat.
He posted the video.
Seconds later, the door burst open and the boys piled in and congratulated me.
"Stop." I raised my hand silencing them instantly.
"As for the problem, let them go. This is wild forest. If we don't get them, the animals will. Send a team out, I want them shot dead and left to decay in the forest. I've searched them up, they have no known family. They won't be missed." I order them and they nodded.
"Also, I'm pretty sure the police would be on the case. Their sheriff is missing, no doubt they will come and snoop around. Send a text to Larry at the police station and tell him to send out a search party for those 'missing' that lasts about a week or so before dropping the case." I told them and they nodded.
"So Avery, that was sick a turn on. Seeing you angry and devilish." Joe voiced his thought while the others nodded their heads and laughed in agreement.
Xavier scowled at them for thinking of me like that.
"Down boy, I'll have Avery hurt you!" Joe warned.
My head whipped to them, "Shut up, fucktruck."
"Fucktruck? Really, Avery? Fucktruck? I mean," Dexter paused before saying, "if you want to." He straightened his shoulders and so did the others as they rushed to look 'presentable'.
I turned around and saw Xavier trying to hold himself back.
I leaned up to his ear, "I am only yours. No one else's." And kissed him passionately.
"I love you." He states.
"I love you too," I smiled up at him and then I hear gagging sounds coming from the boys.
I glared at them which caused them to smile sheepishly. "Do what I have told you to do, please."
I rolled my eyes and chuckled as they nodded and left.
I stared into Xavier's eyes for what seemed like forever before we went upstairs to eat dinner and go to bed.
I think I truly love this man. Watch out Avery, whenever you get the slightest taste of happiness. Shit hits the fan, hard. You know it as well as I do.
As the thought crossed my mind, I drifted off to sleep with an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach and heart. I know something bad is going to happen. Question is: What's going to happen?
