"I ask you to stay away from him."

The whole area was silent, with only the wind whistling from time to time. Manami's gaze never left Karma, who was now looking down. His expression can't be seen with his red hair shadowing his eyes.

Manami saw this and almost sighed in relief, thinking that the redhead accepted the truth. But then, a chuckle rang out. The purple haired girl's eyes widened and quickly snapped to the source.

Karma's head threw back as he turned to a laughing mess. Truthfully, the sight was frightening for Manami. She stepped back alarmed and waited for the signal when she'll have to run.

After a while, the redhead stopped and sighed in amusement. Bringing his gaze to the slightly trembling girl, he smirked and took a step. Manami immediately retracted with Karma's every move to distance herself as fast as possible.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Bad girl. Such a bad girl." Karma stopped and shook his head in disapproval. Waving his right pointer as if emphasizing, he clicked his tounge a few times. "And here I thought you're a smart one. Guess I was wrong. But hey! You actually tricked me by making me think that you'll confess!"

Manami didn't dare utter a word but still kept her guard up. She knew that in one wrong move, her entire being would be in danger.

"And you know that's impossible, right? Then you shouldn't ask for it. And why would I do that, anyways? I can't risk letting him exposed to danger, can I?" Karma mockingly pressed with a childish tone. The mischief and coldness in his voice mixed and created a shivering symphony.

Manami managed to make herself calm and stood straight. Slightly squinting her eyes, she said her point while pressing every word.

"Then stay away. You know that he'll be in danger with you."

The redhead's face turned blank and stared off space for a while, before turning to Manami with the same expression. The girl knew she hit a button, and now it might turn a bit hard to finish.

"What do you know? You know nothing about us."

"I know nothing about the you, but I know something about yourself!" Karma paused and stared at Manami coldly. Those bright orbs lit up again in a murderous way.

'This is it. I'm really in danger. But if it's for my friend...' Cold sweat formed on the girl's forehead. She knew that she's in a really tight spot. Considering that she's physically weak, she weren't a match for the redhead to begin with.

"What did you say?" The coldness of the boy's voice sent shivers down the spine of those who can hear. And fortunately unfortunate, Manami was the only one to suffer from it.

"Please, Akabane-san. If you can't leave Nagisa alone then at least seek---"

"I won't let Nagisa away from me!!" Karma's teeth and hands clenched in anger. Veins almost popped out of his head and showed just how much he's been restraining.

Manami almost squeaked from shock and fled right off the spot. But instead, she stood on her ground with eyes full of determination and desperation, along with a hint of fear hidden behind.

"Listen to me! Don't let that control you! For both of your sa---" Her pleads were again interrupted by the boy's outraged voice.

"You know nothing!! Nothing at all! Yet you dared to meddle with Nagi's and mine's way!" Fishing out his hand from his pocket, the silver glint caused by the dazzling sun made Manami's eyes widen in fear.
