"I'm going off!" Nagisa waved excitedly and ran inside the mansion. Hiromi sat inside the car with a helpless smile, a hint of worry flashing on her eyes but immediately disappeared.

"Be careful." Is what she whispered before driving off to her work.

The little blue-haired boy ran along the pathway towards the garden of Akabane's. He haven't met the couple, thinking that they were already off for work. Still, he happily passed the bushes and found the flowerbeds.

There in the middle was another little boy with a red hair.

"Karma!" Nagisa called out and hopped to sit down next to him. Karma was surprised at first, widening his eyes before relaxing them as he stared at the sky-colored hair of the other. The latter noticed his stare and grinned widely, showing a perfect cute child, and this made Karma blush a little and look away.

"What are we going to play?" Nagisa asked suddenly. The redhead blinked at first before looking around, as if looking for something to do before finally pointing to a direction.

"There."

Nagisa tilted his head in confusion as he looked at the small cabin on the far left of the garden. But seeing the distance, it doesn't even seem to still belong in the area.

"But...isn't that place dark?" The bluehead questioned while observing the eerie atmosphere around the cabin. The trees are bigger, and scarier, as if there's something lurking behind those trunks waiting for them to come.

Nagisa shivered at that thought.

"If you don't want to then suit yourself." The child snapped out of his trance when he heard the other boy. Karma stood up and dusted off his pants, before placing his hands in his pockets. Nagisa didn't see it, but a glint appeared in the redhead's golden orbs.

"Ah, I'll come! I'll come!!" He exclaimed before hastily standing up to follow Karma. He's still doubtful, but if Karma wants to then he'll do it.

Karma is there, anyways.

"What are we going to do here?" Looking around, the cabin seems small but is actually a bit spacious once inside. Maybe it was because there's nothing much to occupy the space. The place seems empty.

Aside from a chest on the right corner of the room and two chairs at the center, that is.

While scanning the almost run down house, a bang made Nagisa jump on his feet. He immediately turned to look at Karma who's currently locking the door.

"Karma...?" A shaky voice asked, making Karma look at the direction. He saw Nagisa shaking with eyes full of confusion and curiosity.

'Ah, such innocence'

"Why...are you locking the door?" The voice of Nagisa was tinted with fear and uneasiness. Karma almost raised an eyebrow at his brave act.

"We're going to play, right?"

"But does it have to be locked?"

"So that you won't escape."

Nagisa stared wide-eyed at the grinning redhead. His mind suddenly turned blank at what he heard. And after a few moments, he gasped in realization.

"We're going to play hide and seek!!" He exclaimed excitedly.

Karma was the next to blank out.
