End of time

Chapter 1

You were Iris west best friend well 2nd best friend,the first being Barry Allen.
The 3 of you were like The Three Musketeers but sometimes you felt like a third wheel and it will always be that way especially now that Iris and Barry are engaged.
Barry had came to yo you for advice on how to ask and you couldn't help but feel a little upset but you swallowed the lump in your throat and helped your 8 year crush propose to the woman of his dreams.
You were always there for and with them but you knew they barely notice as they were too wrapped up in each other to actually care. So eventually you started doing your own thing and graduated college-they didn't even attend- and soon became a forensic nurse.
Nowadays you had to leave whenever your job calls and the looks Iris been giving you about that was not pretty. You been in and out of StarLabs a hell of a lot and that wasn't sitting right with Barry either so he confronted you about it.
"Hey where you going this time" Barry asks as he appears in front of you
"Barry I have to go to work, you know this already" you rush around him, picking up your pace.
"Yeah well I'm starting to think it's something else...y/n, Iris needs you right now her life is at stake" You looked at your watch and rolled your eyes.
"Barry, I can't just not go to work in case you forgot everyone's not a meta Barry, some of us have normal lives, Jobs,kids...we just can't abandon that"you say through gritted teeth and walk around him once more
"Y/n-"
"No Barry, I have to go we can talk about this later" and just like that you were gone

It was 7:00pm when you finally returned to StarLabs and you were exhausted its so much easier to go home and get ready for bed but you didn't want to upset Barry even more. As you walked in the cortex everyone turned their heads towards you and the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
You see Caitlyn holding a piece of the philosopher's stone and you gasps.
"Caitlyn, what the hell" at this point your eyes probably look like they were gonna pop out your head.
"We took care of it already, which you would've known if you were here" Iris mumbles as she makes her way to the training area and everyone follows her.
"Barry, can we-"
"Not now y/n, I have to talk to Savitar" you sigh as you follow Barry to the training area.
You were all standing around Julian as Savitar used him to talk to Barry, you being in the back just listening and paying attention to every thing that came out of Savitar's mouth.
Eventually you felt your phone vibrate and you check to see your boss urgent message about needing you back at work.
"Shit" you mumble and look back up to make sure no one was paying attention to you as you slowly turn around and make your way to the door.
"Going somewhere y/n" A sinister voice calls out to you and you mentally face palm yourself. You turn around while playing with your fingers as your mouth try to form words but all English escaped your mind.
"Where you going this time"Barry asks but before you could say anything Julian rises from his seat and makes his way towards you.
"Oh y/n, hardworking little y/n you were always the innocent one in this" Savitar's words made you a little confused, why was he targeting you.
"I have nothing to do with thi-"
"My prophecy had an unspoken line y/n , one will betray you , one shall fall, one shall suffer a fate worse than death , and one shall suffer pain and regret until death."
Your chest tightened as the last words came out of Savitar's mouth. You were convinced he was trying to get in your head so you didn't let it affect you.
"Keep her out of this" your eyes flick to Barry as you felt your phone vibrate once again.
"I have to go" you say with a shaky breath and make your way out the building.
