As the face of the girl they hunted was visible a wave of shock passed over the group, even Mikasa was surprised. Annie turned to glare at Mikasa, she had blue markings below her eyes, four or five vibrant blue lines.

The blue veins on her hand seemed like poison that had entered her system and traveled up her neck to her chin. "She looks possessed..." Marco said softly.

Armin nodded in agreement. "I must complete my mission." she said and attempted to throw the blade at a shocked Eren once again.

This warranted another punch from Mikasa. Her fist this time connecting with Annies soft cheeks. Mikasa instantly pulled her hand back on contact, she had received frostbite just from touching Annie.

Armin pulled out his staff and began to mutter an incantation. "I need to complete my mission." She repeated, her voice stayed as expressionless as her face did.

With incredible speed she rushed at Armin and interrupted his incantation. She landed a hit directly in his stomach and held him as a human shield from Mikasa.

"Armin!" Eren growled and rushed at Annie. As he did so Sasha sent an arrow towards her shoulder. The arrow reached Annie before Eren did and Annie grabbed it, using it to stab Eren as he ran towards her.

Jean came at her from the other side with Marcos sword. His skills weren't adept with the sword as it was far lighter than his usual weapon. Annie quickly disarmed him, still holding Armin in one hand.

Eren could feel the wound in his side, the sharp pain of the arrowhead sliding through his flesh, though he admired Annies strength, for a baker anyways, he couldn't help but slump to the ground as the blood loss became too great.

Mikasa ran to his side "Eren are you alright?" He was about to speak when Armin fired a bolt of magic at him and he went limp. Mikasa was pulled into a rage "Armin why would you?!?" She whirled around to see Annie had let go of him, with their comrades scattered around on the floor, Annie fell to her knees.

Her possessed icy eyes drifted across the cavern chamber, gazing at each frozen viking and knight, her eyes finally landing on Eren. Armin stood next to her, a hopeful emotion hidden behind his eyes.

"Mission complete..." She muttered softly and tears began to stream down her cheeks. The cave began to rumble and crystals began to pull themselves around Annie. "What is she doing?!?" Jean asked getting off the floor slowly, Marco put his arm around his shoulder.

"I don't know." Armin said softly. He tried to pull her out of the crystals before thy encased her but that simply made the crystals move faster. The crystals closed up in a gem like shape around her.

The group was flabbergasted, save Mikasa who was cradling Eren in her arms. "Armin how could you?" She hissed at him. "Don't worry, he's fine." Armin said walking over to her.

"He's Dead!" She exclaimed, holding back tears. "N-no he isn't." Armin clarified. He kneeled next to Eren and waved his hand over his face, magic softly flowing from his fingers. Eren awoke with a gasp, intaking as much air as possible.

"Woah! You can make zombies! Is Eren a zombie now?" Connie asked Armin. "He was never dead." Armin stated. From next to Jean Marco let out a sound of understanding "I get it! You hypothesized that she was possessed, and it's common knowledge that anyone who's possessed only continues their job until they believe it to be finished, so you put Eren under a spell to put him in a sleep like death and Annie would think her mission is complete!"

Armin nodded "I hoped it would pull Annie out of her possession too but I guess not..." Marco then looked at Armin a clear look of confusion upon his face. "What I don't get is how come you knew just by her armour she was trouble." Armin shifted uncomfortably "well I read in some old scrolls that there used to be a sort of dragon cult, they would choose members to be carriers of a dragon soul, so I'm pretty sure Annie was the ice dragon here, thats why it wasn't here yet and why when Mikasa touched her she got frostbite."

Eren sat up "s-so what happened while I was out?" He noticed Annie in the crystal "waoh. What happened?" He skittered over to the large crystal.

The wound in his side was still bleeding though Mikasa had been keeping her hand on it. He reached the crystal and placed his hand on in "So how are we gonna bring her back to those bakers?" He asked.

Silence flowed like a golden river over the folk "Yeah. We can't get the money if we don't bring her back." Connie stated. Sasha groaned "awww and I was looking forward to buy some cake..." Cake was actually quite expensive.

"We'll have to tell them that she died. And froze into the wall or something." Armin thought aloud. The others thought on it "yeah, thats the best option i guess." Eren stated.

"Ugh... They'll never believe that." Jean groaned "screw it." He headed off the the back of the chamber without another word.

"Where's he going?" Sasha asked Marco. "I don't know." He replied. Marco then rushed off after him.

"Jean what on earth are you doing?" He asked, when he came upon Jean he was trying to pull a fused crystal out of the ground. Marco noticed a basket, that Jean obviously hadn't brought with him, that was full of small gems.

"Come on help me!" He spat at Marco. "Jean thats not coming out of the wall." Jean rolled his eyes. It took about five minutes before Jean gave up.

The pair headed back to the group who all seemed on edge and in their fighting stances, facing the tunnel leading out of the cave.

"Guys whats-" Marco was cut off by Sasha shushing him. He looked past them to what they could be looking at.

There, at the only exit, stood three people. The first, a tall blonde man with eyebrows thicker than Armins, next to him stood a slightly shorted mage or alchemist, who's gender he couldn't quite tell. The last was a short man with raven black hair and a humungous battle axe.

"Hey losers, what are you doing here?" The raven haired spoke.
