Chapter 18 (Pt. 1)

(Y/n)'s Pov

It had almost been a week since you'd been put in the hospital. London still hadn't shown up again, disappears when everything goes to hell.

Zane and Aaron were still coming in everyday to check on you. After the first few days they couldn't take anymore time off their jobs to stay in the hospital.

A few days ago you'd asked that nurse - Natalie, or whatever her name was - for your phone to tell your online friends that you hadn't died. As you predicted, they'd been going crazy in the chat group you guys had made.

Sometimes it was annoying having online friends, but they were the best, most of the time.

A few hours later zane had joined you after work. It was still kind of awkward, but so is everything else with your other friends. They still didn't know what really happened. They'd been told you were in the hospital after being in a car crash and were now in a coma or some bullshit lie like that.

You'd been told by zane that they were 'super' worried but had to much stuff on and couldn't come to see you. Another lie. The only person that would maybe care was Travis, but he'd recently gone overseas for work. Which sucked, you really missed him, plus you couldn't text him as you were supposedly in a coma or whatever.

"So uh (Y/n), how's the food been?" Zane asked trying to start a conversation instead of mindlessly scrolling through Tumblr like yesterday.

"Pretty crap." You answered, looking out the window. "It's hospital food." Zane giggled at your answer.

"So how's work been?"

Zane shrugged. "Same as usual, few tired angry teens wanting coffee at 6 in the morning. Nothing out of the odd."

After that Aaron walked in looking quite excited. "What's up with you?" You asked.

"Big news." He answered.

Zane joined in. "Like what?"

Aaron took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he then opened them again. "(Y/n)'s getting out of the hospital tomorrow morning!"

"What, seriously!" You squealed happily, while sitting up.

"Mhmm!" Aaron squealed as well.

Zane still hadn't said anything yet, you looked over at him. He was leaning forward on his elbows with his chin resting on his fists. "What do you think Zane?" You asked cheerily.

"You can't stay at Aphmau's place." He said.

Your brow furrowed in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"Nicole is staying with them this week, and since you haven't been around she's taken your spot on the couch."

"Oh." You squeaked. "I can share the couch."

"Yeah but if you go back with only a wrapped wrist they'll get suspicious."

You stayed quiet for a moment. "We can just lie again."

"We told them you had a broken ankle and couldn't walk." Zane said.

You exhaled, you thought for a few seconds. "You bloody idiots. There's no way we can get out of that." You put your face in your hands.

"Hey, we're sorry." Zane and Aaron said in unison. They both looked at each other with a worried face. 

You looked up at them. "Aw." They were still looking at each other with a 'what-the-hell' face. They snapped out of it after you'd commented on it though. *Wink wonk*

Zane looked down at this feet and Aaron sat down next to him.

"Hey, (Y/n)?" Zane said, putting a hand on your shoulder.

You jumped and pushed away from him. Zane looked at his withdrawn hand for a second. "Sorry." He mumbled then breathed in.

"Hey it's not your fault." Aaron comforted, resting a hand on Zane's knee, Zane tensed from his sudden action before relaxing.

"Yeah... Anyway." He said looking back up at you. "You'll have to stay with one of us."

A/n Sorry this was so short, I'm gonna do a second part but I don't have any ideas right now. I'm going to end this story pretty soon because I'm thinking about a new story I really want to write. It's either gonna be Phan or these two guys at my old school that I shipped super hard. Also thank you so much for 500+ reads! I never thought that anyone would really care about my bull crap writing so thank you!
