It is December twenty ninth, and Zhou Zhou was at his studio recording songs for his next album. He felt very happy, in spite having woken with feeling sluggish from last night's activities. The current time was one sixteen after noon, singing to a microphone that was hooked to music producing software. As Zhou Zhou sang to a metal stand while he read the music sheet he had written yesterday, music drifted into everyone's ears. The people behind the window glass listened to Zhou Zhou belt out his heartfelt emotions. As they all stared, their thoughts drifted to their love ones and how they're missing them. Imaginations filled their mind if their life were loveless and absent of thier beloveds, life would have been meaningless.
He and his team have been recording since nine in the morning. Zhou Zhou was yawning constantly the moment he entered the building. It eventually waned when he began working to the first song. As he finishes the last few verses, everyone was at the edge of their seat. The melody faded and the last note was sung, Zhou Zhou had his eyes closed. A door open, triggering him to open his eyes to who it was. It was his manager, hiccupping and cheeks wet as she hugged him.
"Zhou Zhou, you're so brave and strong. Hang in there."
Her hand touched his cheeks, and he glances down. He saw his manager's wet thumb and figured he cried while singing the last song.
"I cried?" A disbelief Zhou Zhou whispered to himself.
The female manager shook her head in agreement.
"It's okay. It happens to everyone- especially when one is longing for that special someone." His manager gave him the water bottle he was drinking and drank its content. "You had us emotional, too. Almost all of us were crying, except that intern. Cheeky little bugger."
You know, some of them went to call their significant others and family members after your session. So, why don't we end it for today. You take a rest, hmm? We can finish this when you're well rested. Are you good with that?"
Gentle hand comforted Zhou Zhou, whose adrenaline had run out. A yawn escape out of his mouth as he they settled with that decision.
"Okay, I'll have the songs sent to your phone when everything is cleaned. We'll have them ready before midnight. I know you'll want to show it off to him."
Everyone's packed and well ready to go home. Zhou Zhou went to his car and drove off to hiss parents' home. It took him about an hour drive to the familial abode. Within his vision, the entrance to The young man didn't need to knock to get his parent to let him inside. He still has his family home key, thus, he lets himself in.
"Ma, Pa, I'm home! I'll be in my room sleeping!"
His dad called out to him, and said, "Ok, son! Will save you dinner and it'll be in the fridge! Eat when you wake up! Don't work too hard."
"Ok, dad!" Yelled Zhou Zhou as he took his last step up the stairs. Approaching his door, Zhou Zhou could feel the fatigue takes it toll on him. Jaw gaping wide, he gets to his bedroom, and drops his bad on a chair close to his large window. Plopped on the bed, he drifted to la la land.
Sleep came and out, and in few hours Zhou Zhou was woken up by his internal system of relieving his distended bladder. Getting up from the bed, Zhou Zhou sluggishly dragged himself into his bathroom and released the fluid he had been collecting. After washing his hands, he took his phone with him as he went down to the kitchen.
Opening the fridge, he saw the cooled edibles that his mother made. Teeth appeared as the muscles of his face pulled up. Zhou Zhou took them out, laid them on the marbled island table and started eating them. As he ate the bunch of food, he scrolled through his emails for the songs that was sent to him.
The round double eyelids of Zhou Zhou lighted with a beam appearing on his lips. Not waiting any seconds to lose, he forward the message to Huang Jing Yu. It didn't take too long for the other person to call after getting thing the message. It was very late into the night, therefore Zhou Zhou had to keep his voice down. Both men talked for approximately an hour before hanging up. Yet, the smile that grace upon his face never left as he finish up his food, washed the dishes, and then fall back to sleep.
