Jing Yu slept right after an hour of his phone call with Zhou Zhou. He wanted both of them to be well rested before they wake up and starts their day. A melodious ringtone from a phone next to the bed woke up Jing Yu from his dreamless sleep. After eight hours of sleep, he rubbed away the slumber that kept his eyes from opening.

Taking his phone on top of his drawer stand, Jing Yu scanned his phone for any messages and missed calls. He had two missed call and three messages. One was from Zhou Zhou dated the time both men hanged up form their call. The other two messages were from his personal assistant, telling him about the details of his work in the evening.

He went inside his private bathroom, emptying his full bladder. After expelling the fluid waste, he washed his hands, then entered his shower stall. Turning it on, Jing Yu let the water from the showerhead cascaded on his full of hair down to his feet.

As he showered of the dirt, the exhaustion, and the sleepyness, the cold water kept him from falling going back to taking a nap. The showerhead on full blast, Jing Yu leaned forward his arms against the tile wall. Water beating on his neck and back, his mind drifted to last night's conversation with his beloved.

Flashbacks to their conversation, it started with Zhou Zhou yawning that started the domino effect of ending the call. Both decided it was for the best as Jing Yu has to get some good night sleep for tomorrow's work he signed up for. Despite working on a holiday, he didn't mind as the pay was high. His paycheck will go to his bank account in which will help to pay bills and investments, including money to shower his treasured people with gifts and trinkets.

A faint knock echoed to the bathroom outside his room. Jing Yu perked up and straightened his figure. Closing the water, he wrapped a black towel around his waist and left the bathroom with wet footprints on the tiled floor.

"Yeah?" Jing Yu made sure his towel was secured before opening the door. "Ah, ma. What is it?"

"You're manager and your staffs are here. Don't forget to bring thick clothes just in case your work is extended. It's gonna start snowing around three to four this afternoon. Please, I don't want you getting sick."

Jing Yu's mother patted her son's cheeks, pinched it then kissed both of them. She turned her back and made a left turn into a hallway, disappearing from Jing Yu's sight. Sighing, the young man closed his door and gone to finish bathing.

Half an hour later, Jing Yu was freshly dressed in dark green shirt and dark navy jeans. As he inserted his white socked right foot into his vandalized shoe, a voice called out from his back.

"Jing Yu, hurry up! We're almost late with our schedule. Pick up your pace!"

"I know, I'm just putting my shoes on now. I don't even know why you guys came so early. We're not really behind schedule, you know!" Yelling at his female manager, he rolled his eyes.

When he was done putting on his shoes and going down the stairs, Jing Yu found his manager already at the first floor. He found a woman sitting on his parent's couch, mimicking a green complexion superhero, and her head bent down reading a notebook in her hands.

"Hey, let's go." The older woman in her late thirties looked up from her notes and glared at Jing Yu. "Don't give me that look. I know my time so let's get going. Or else we will really be late."

His manager harrumphed at him, but stood up and followed her employer. Inside the warmed car, Jing Yu chose to sit in the back as he inserted his earbuds into his ears. Their trip took an hour and a half for Jing Yu and his team to get to their photo shoot's location. They were just on time as the clock read ten forty eight.
