Once Upon a Time, a very long time ago, there was a king. He ruled over his land known as the Sun King. His real name was Din. He ruled his kingdom with pride and loved all his subjects. One day the king met a beautiful woman named Kara. Din and Kara got married and ruled together peacefully. They conceived a baby. It was a boy. Kara named this beautiful babe 'Michael' after her father. He would one day rule as the rightful king of their kingdom. Their kingdom was grand and their lives were peaceful. Until one day, a fatal war broke out among the kingdom. Kara began to grow ill and weak. Delivering her first born son brought death upon her. The king had the baby sent to protection until the war was over. For five years the war went on until the Sun kingdom won the war. On the sixth year the king Din grew ill and died. He was buried next to his beautiful wife. And their son, only five at the time, was anointed king of the sun kingdom. He pledged to be just like his father and rule just-fully and rightfully. Except there was one small twist. King Din's only son wasn't interested in finding a wife but a husband instead and that is where our story begins.

"Your Majesty." A young servant scuffled into Michael's room.

"Yes Colin what is it?" Michael turned around to face the small boy.

"We have rounded up a few suitors for your hand." Michael walked out of his room into the living room. There were four boys standing in the living room. All their eyes shifty and tired.

"Hello." They all bowed.

"Your majesty this is Joey of the Cloud Kingdom. This is Daniel of the Star Kingdom. This is Andrew of the Rainbow Kingdom. And this is Jeremy of the Moon Kingdom." Michael looked at them all. Nothing seemed to click between him until he looked right at Jeremy. His heart kinda sped up a bit.

"You're son of Nyx. Correct?" Jeremy looked at Michael. His eyes looked surprised.

"Uh y-yes you're majesty." Jeremy sputtered. Michael smiled at his stutter.

"You're father passed in the war against my kingdom?" Jeremy only nodded. Colin interfered.

"Your majesty the Sun and Moon Kingdom have been at war for years! The very war that your father won! For you!" Michael gave Colin a sharp look.

"You're dismissed." Colin bowed and walked away.

"Now Jeremy, son of Nyx, will you do me the honor of being my husband?" Jeremy's face turned red.

"Y-yes you're majesty." The other boys were dismissed. Michael pulled Jeremy up to his room and slammed the door behind them.

"Ugh I hate being proper." He slipped off his suit and turned to look at Jeremy. He looked confused and scared almost.

"What's wrong my love? You look scared." Jeremy rubbed his face.

"I'm sorry. I just am surprised the most esteemed king by all his people is like this." Michael giggled.

"Yeah. You don't have to act all proper around me. Even though the paparazzi could come here at any minute trying to get answers out of us but you know." Jeremy smiled.

"Pardon me if this is offensive but is all the people in your kingdom's faces blue?" Jeremy nodded.

"Oh. Well that's amazing! Everything here is red and yellow. Gets kinda boring." Jeremy giggled.

"Well then you can imagine how depressing it is over in my kingdom." Michael laughed.

"Oh! I almost forgot! Colin!" He came scuttling around the corner.

"Yes your highness." Michael handed him a paper and quill.

"Write a letter to the high priest and tell him his king has been selected to be my husband." Colin sighed.

"Yes your majesty. And also why aren't you wearing your proper attire?" Michael scoffed. "

"You have no right to question your king." Colin flushed in embarrassment.

"Yes your majesty." He walked out.

"Wow he seems miserable." Jeremy commented.

"Yeah he's been working for my family since my great great great grandfather." Jeremy gasped.

"How is he not dead?" Michael giggled.

"Have you ever heard of an elf before?" Jeremy flushed in embarrassment just as Colin had.

"Don't you have work to accompany to?" Jeremy asked.

"No. You see ever since I was a kid my father made ruling easy for me. He has other people doing my jobs. When it comes to laws, yes I do rule over those, but everything else. Not so much." Jeremy shrugged.

"Funny my father did the same thing. Surprised cause he was harsh. He abused my mother." Michael gasped.

"That's horrible Jeremy!" He nodded, not showing emotion.

"I'm so sorry." Michael grabbed Jeremy's hands, making him blush madly.

"I promise I'll never hurt you." Michael smiled at Jeremy tenderly. They walked down into the living room and were greeted by the King of the Cloud Kingdom.

"Hello King Michael." He bowed and Michael bowed back.

"What brings you here?" Michael asked.

"I noticed you did not choose my son. And of all people your enemies son!" Michael wanted to sock him.

"He's a king unlike your son! And besides everyone deserves a second chance." The king rolled his eyes.

"You'll see King Michael you've made a grave mistake." Michael was infuriated now.

"THIS IS MY MOON!" Michael hugged Jeremy to him.

"And if you and your kingdom have a problem with it then you can shove off! I'm not dealing with negativity in my kingdom!" He turned away and walked off with Jeremy.

"In fact," Michael turned back around. "All your kind are banned from my land! You cannot lay a foot in my kingdom and if I see you anywhere around us during our wedding I'll see to it you're beheaded. Because my kingdom is stronger than you!" The king left with a turn and a scoff and slammed the door behind him.

"Michael you didn't have to."

"But I did, you're my new husband. I love you. Even if it maybe an arranged marriage. You won my heart." Jeremy blushed.

"Really?" Michael nodded.

"Then I should tell you. I came here because I feel like my kingdom needs light. The star kingdom didn't have enough light and neither did mine. But you, the Sun King, brought light to my melancholy world." Michael smiled and kissed Jeremy on the forehead.

"Good. Because I want you happy." Jeremy smiled. Colin came into the room and looked at the two boys.

"It's time to go and arrange your marriage." Michael kissed Jeremy on the forehead again.

"Help yourself and look around. I'll be back love." He walked away and Jeremy turned down the hall.
