Princesses vs Princes

Ok so I was just going through my chapters list and seeing how many reads each one got. Just cause I'm bored and don't feel like updating another book tonight. Don't judge me.

Anyway as you guys know some Wattapad authors will stop updating books because they see people skipping chapters. So...

YEAH. If you guys think I do that. I don't. I just am super lazy and don't always have inspiration. The thing is I don't take either side. Author or reader. I don't understand.

Most Wattapad authors start writing books because they enjoy it and want to become future authors. Or they just do it for fun. It's not for money or anything. Well at least not everyone. But then once they see their books getting popular and then they start seeing people skipping.
They seem to get highly offended. Ok so if you started doing this for your own enjoyment why are you now stopping because of others? I don't understand.

But then again. Why are readers skipping anyway? Why would you want to skip and then get completely lost during another chapter? Like me. On my new books. I stopped putting titles cause I can't think of any or I'll put some dumb pun. SO YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT IS EVEN GONNA BE IN THAT CHAPTER. SOMEONE COULD KISS. SOMEONE COULD'VE DIED. SOMEONE'S KID COULD HAVE BEEN RAN OVER AND NOW IS IN A HOSPITAL FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE. Wow that just got dark. My apologies.
AND EVEN IF THEIR IS A TITLE. YOU STILL DON'T REALLY HAVE A CLUE. LIKE THEY COULD PUT SOMETHING ABOUT A KISS AND THE KISS ISN'T EVEN ABOUT THE SHIP YOU WANT.
AKA MY DUMBASS.

So I DON'T UNDERSTAND EITHER SIDE AT ALL AND YOU KNOW WHAT SCREW IT. I WRITE FOR MY OWN ENJOYMENT AND KNOWING PEOPLE LIKE MY BOOKS IS AMAZING. I LOVE IT. AND I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF YOU DO SKIP. I KNOW HALF OF YOU AREN'T EVEN GONNA READ THIS WHOLE THING.
