After a few months
I hoped you'd see.
You told me again,
You want her too
Like you were confined to a playpen
You wanted to get out and have her too.
I showed you once
How it broke my heart
And in a few months
It'll tear me apart.
I won't show you twice
How badly I'll need a distraction
Cus all that shows in front of my eyes
Is my own damn misdirection.
I kissed someone once
I think I can do it again
But in a few months
I could be all alone yet again.
I can try my best
To be more than me
But now my best
Isn't what you need.
You need someone better than me
Prettier than me
Nicer than me
With more history than we.
You need a girl
Who is more than me.
You need a girl
Who can please you better than me.
More than me.
