For the second time in my life, I woke up once again in Jotunheim.
However this time I wasn't tied to anything, I woke up on a bed. I brought my hand up to wipe my bleary eyes and clear my vision, and blinked rapidly, surveying my surroundings.
"So, you awaken," a voice spoke up from the corner of the room.
I turned to see Loki sitting in a chair. My lips pulled into a frown as I remembered how I got hear.
"Why did you do this to me?" I rasped, my voice raw.
"It had to be done."
"Why?"
"An alliance between Jotunheim and Midgard is necessary."
"Do you really think an alliance with Earth is going to happen if I'm kidnapped? This is unwillingly. They will never form an alliance with Jotunheim because of that."
"They will if your life hangs in the balance."
"Would you really hurt me like that?" I fired.
Finally, Loki hesitated. "You know what I am."
"Oh, right." I concluded. "You're a monster." I said, and Loki flinched. "The unloved adopted son of Odin, always second to Thor. Where even in his true heritage, he was a runt. Always unwanted." I snarled.
Loki's eyes filled with rage. "What is the point of this? Do not speak to me in that way!" He roared.
"But do you want to know something else about you? Maybe the worst of all?" I questioned, my vision starting to become blurry with tears. "Through all of that, with all of your flaws, a mortal girl fell in love with you. That girl accepted you for what you were and didn't care. Maybe Odin didn't want you, or the Jotuns, but she did. I did. And you betrayed my trust." I cried. "I didn't see you for the monster you believed you were. But now you've gone and done this. You faked your death, you made me watch you die. And now you're working with the very ones who want to harm me. What have you done, Loki?" I questioned him, my voice breaking with emotion.
Loki's face became torn, but then he looked at me with disdain. "You don't love me." He told me. "You say that to get me to help you. You pity me, and think I can be won by emotion. You're a foolish mortal, and I could never love you either."
"You're lying." I accused.
"You have no right to make those accusations."
"So I mean nothing to you?" I asked Loki.
"Not at all." He sneered, and stood up, making his way to the door.
"I mean nothing to you, even though you stayed in the room with me to make sure I was okay when I awoke?" I questioned, standing up off the bed and walking closer to Loki.
"I was making sure you were in healthy enough condition to be wedded to Laufey." He replied, not looking at me.
"And you have no problem if I willingly give myself to him? Maybe you know, fall in love with him, give him little frost giant children?" I questioned. Panic crossed Loki's face at the thought of that but it left as quickly as it came.
