//Sorry I didn't write for a while. I just felt demotivated as no one said anything. I just recently did get a star or vote, not sure how it's called, so decided to continue anyways. So here is part 14, hope you'll enjoy it!//

It was only a matter of seconds before the first brother came running. Literally. Bear raced a dog to the house. As he passed he barely greeted Naomi before claiming his spot on the table. Gabe grinned and petted the dog, "Hi there Mr. Cupcake," he said, "you're hungry too, huh?"

Naomi laughed, "Your parents have picked quite the unique names for all of you," she smiled, "they must've put a lot of thought into it."

He smiled and led her inside the house. He took place at the table and tapped on the spot next to himself. She chuckled and sat down at the spot, "I'm not taking anyone's place, am I?"

"Well," he grinned, "it's Matt's spot, but now it's yours."

Soon all others entered the room as well, making it feel a little crowded. Bam Bam sat down on her other side, grinning a little, "Hi again"

She smiled as a greeting and looked at the food Ami put on the table. Almost immediately she could smell the freshly prepared food and sighed, "It smells amazing, Ami."

Ami blushed and smiled, before sitting down. The boys wanted to attack the food, but Ami tapped them on the hands, "Ladies first."

"Anything you wish to try out first?" Gabe asked.

"Hmm," Naomi looked over the food, "to be honest, I wish to try it all."

Ami smiles proudly and began their prayers before the boys hungrily started grabbing food.

"Boys," Ami scolded, "ladies first!"

Naomi laughed in response and gave Gabe a smile as he put some food on her plate, "If you'd like some more, just grab or ask."

"Thank you Gabe." she responded, whilst looking at the food.

She grabbed a fork and a knife, but when she saw everyone on the table eating with their hands she put it down again. Billy watched her as she did and couldn't help but laugh.

"Sorry for our ill manners," he said, "but I guess we all like to rip the meat straight from the bone with our teeth."

"No worries," Naomi grinned, "so do I. I just figured so attempt to seem a little bit mannered."

Billy laughed loudly, making it seem like the house rumbled. Naomi grinned and grabbed a piece of chicken and teared the meat off of its bones. She sighed in delight and chewed on the juicy meat, "Gosh, Ami... I wish you could cook for me everyday."

Everybody at the table laughed in amusement, but they all had to agree. Ami was a great cook. Instead of blushing as before, Ami had a mischievous look in her eyes, "That's actually quite possible. I've got five boys and all are single at the moment."

Naomi nearly choked on her food and had to swallow hard, surprised by the question.

"Mom!" Gabe said with a mix of shame and annoyance. Bam Bam and Matt also looked at her, shaking their heads.

"You surprised me," Naomi chuckled, "but who knows what the future will bring. I myself am not in a relationship either."

"Taken a liken to anyone yet?" she grinned, taking it another step up.

"Wow, thanks mom," Gabe said, not happy with his mom's behavior.

"Yea mom," Bam Bam added, "you're scaring her off with the most awkward dinner ever."

Naomi couldn't help but laugh, "You guys really are one of a kind," she grinned, and then focused back on Ami, "but I do not have any romantic feelings for the men of this household just yet. I would need to get to know them better."

Ami smiled, pleased with Naomi's answer. Billy coughed, "Now let's get back to dinner before it gets cold." Shoving the potentially awkward conversations aside.

The table went silent, aside from the standard eating noises. Naomi couldn't help but enjoy the food, wondering why it tasted this good. Was it that Ami was this good a cook, or that she liked the company?
