I really don't know what a nigga really feeling like; my mood is really everywhere. I can see this girl been through everything.

 I mean who would treat their granddaughter like that and especially they're wife daughter, daughter. "Listen Treasure, be yourself and don't let nobody change you. Just know i'm always her for you and Egypt" I said as I kissed the top of her head and walked out.

I walked downstairs and seen my pops and mom still arguing. I guessed Egypt went back to her room. I walked to my room and laid in the bed and went to sleep.

4:26 p.m.

Tomorrow is prom and I haven't found a dress. Egypt and I is going to find a dress today. My mom told me no I couldn't go, but I kept asking her and she said I don't care damn.

Then she asked me who is going to watch the little brat of mines and I told her Egypt mother. She just shrugged her shoulders.

She couldn't care less, I mean if we die or got hurt, she couldn't care less.

 While I was clocking out I was thinking about Damieon. He had been distant lately, I don't know why. When I was at Egypt house and I told Damieon hi he said hi and went on about his business, I walked out of Mcdonalds I seen Egypt parked in front of my work blocking the parking spaces and blocking the drive thru.

Cars behind her was beeping and everytime they beeping she put up her middle finger. I laughed and I got in the car and seen her smiling. I looked at her and shook my head. "Hey boo" she said still smiling. "Hey and what the hell you smiling about" I said smiling as she was pulling off.

"Nothing, but I called Dwayne and asked him what color he want to do and we doing gold, or beige, so if you want to do our style, we don't mind" she said. Egypt got asked to the prom Monday by Dwayne Millar.

 "No, i'm good that's your date, I will just dress as my favorite color and that's black" I said smiling.

"Okay boo, now let's go find our dresses, then tomorrow we going to get our hair and nails done" she said smiling and I smiled too. I know she got something going on and I was just gonna leave it alone.

 We pulled up to a prom dress store called peaches boutique. I seen Egypt hella cheesing. We walked in the boutique and seen people standing around. "Egypt I think they doing something, maybe we should go to another boutique" I said to Egypt.

"Gul they alright, they ain't hurting nobody. Along they want my money I suggest we buy our dresses" she said looking at the dresses on the rack. Then this lady came up to me.

"Do you need anything, or looking at anything specific" she said smiling hella hard too. I mean what's up with everybody and this smiling today.

"Yes, I am looking for a black dress" I said and she nodded her head. She grabbed my hand and walked over to the crowd. I began to get nervous.

We walked over to the crowd and I seen Damieon standing their with balloons, with Prom?, a big teddy bear, and white roses. I looked back trying to see who this all for. I seen nobody and I looked at Egypt seen her smiling and knew this was her plan.

Damieon came up to me smiling. "Treasure Naomi Wilkins, I know I been distant lately, but this is all for you. I'm sorry for everything happen to you, in life. I can do better. I know you can't take back everything that happen to you. This is 2017, I want to make the old & bad memories to good memories. I want to show you I can do better. I want to show you I'm not your dad, I want to show you that I'm not your mom, I want to show you I'm not your grandfather. This don't means that we are boyfriend and girlfriend (He just kilt the vibe)  I never did this before, or asked a girl out, But I will say this will you become my date for prom." he said down on one knee holding a bracelet out saying will you go to the prom with me that had me, Egypt and Damieon all together picture in a locket. And I seen all these charms and it was beautiful and it had real diamonds on it. I have to pay him back for this. And no not sex. And by then I had tears coming out my eyes.

I nodded my head up and down because the words in my throat was stuck. I hugged him and kissed his cheek. I was happy at the moment.

 At the time I stopped, I looked at him and pulled him to aside. "How you going inside prom, when you don't even go to school and don't even go to my school" I said.

"Don't worry baby girl" he said smiling.

"Now go help my sister go find a dress that's not to revealing and go find you a black dress. I know black your favorite color" he smiled showing all his pearly white teeth. He kissed me on my cheeks and walked out leaving all this stuff with me.

I went to put it in Egypt car. I walked back in and we started finding a dress for out prom.

This the best day ever. No wonder why everyone smiling. Better enjoy it before it last. Thank God.
