Prem's phone kept dinging. He couldn't stand to look at it. Everything irritated him these days. He rubbed his hands roughly against his face. He knew his friends were just talking like normal and the group chat was blowing up, but he just needed a break from everything.

He left his phone in his kitchenette while he went into his bedroom to go online and look for jobs. He hadn't been picky about the search; he'd looked for engineering positions as well as photography jobs. His online portfolio sometimes got interest, thankfully, but he knew he couldn't live off it.

He sent his resume to a few companies, tailoring each one for each specific job. Then, he looked through his photography email and sent reply to an interested client.

"Better than nothing," he groaned to himself before returning to the kitchenette. His phone was still buzzing on the counter so he picked it up.

Apparently he was roped into meeting with the other hazers and they'd be over to pick him up within the hour.

Prem pursed his lips and started mentally preparing himself to wear that familiar mask.

(I'm not dead and I'm not abandoning this story! I finally got around to finishing sotus s and now I have an outline. It's gonna be real angsty before it gets fluffy folks. Prem is one of my all time favorite characters in any series and I want to explore all the stuff he's going through. They really didn't give him enough screen time. I love my boy.)
