Wowa so its my birthday today whoop whoop uh so Im fourteen now......yay?

Okay so I just wanted to talk a little bit about growing up

So when some people were younger birthday were amazing, you have gifts and cake and parties and balloons, but what for?

Why would you need to celebrate your birthday? I mean yeah its when you were born but isnt it a bit selfish?

Also when some people grow up when they celebrate their birthday they leave the house and be with other people, they party somewhere else.

Now that's just idiotic.

Some people (for example) their parents are working overseas.

What do they do?

They spend the money their parents sent to celebrate with friends.

Yes it is alright to have fun once in awhile, but lets not forget what really matters.

Your parents, your family.

They have been there with you since the very beginning, and if for example now you don't have a family. You have your close friends and relatives and your guardians.

What I'm trying to imply is some people want to grow up so fast but they mostly forget that while they are growing up their parents grow older.

Please, its okay to celebrate but lets not forget to thank our parents for the life they gave us, to thank our parents for taking care of us, to thank them for all they have done to make us happy and healthy.

You can celebrate anytime, you can replace gifts, you can replace friends, but you can never replace family and the love of your parents.

Next topic I wanted to talk about was maturing, growing up.

Its a strange phenomenon, it sometimes goes unnoticed but once you realize it, it sure is scary but exciting.

Like me I'm fourteen, I'm to years away of being a senior.

That seems really basic to know but to think about it actually complicated.

You're filled with doubts and people start asking you about the future, some people wants you think about it now.

And its overwhelming, my cousin/sister went to La Salle, it was a big school, with high expectations, and she got an office job as her first job.

Which really surprised everyone that she could keep up that quickly after just graduating, since mostly all of her co-workers were in their thirties.

So that makes me think if I will ever be that great, if I would just dissapoint my parents.

My sister (cousin) had a nice course, I forgot what its called but it was impressive, she is very practical, smart and quick minded.

My brother (cousin) had a course for computer/electrician stuff? He is smart as well and good at math and tweaking randomly and fixing electric problems even though he hasn't even gotten a job for electric stuff, which is really amazing.

Which again kinda scares me, what do I do now? Both of them seem really great and successful while I'm just here wanting to study psychology.

Heck its job opportunities are really small and far and complicated and I don't know if my smol brain could handle that.

So what I'm trying to say is just, work hard, don't overthink about the future but don't look past it either, you shouldn't be so focused about the future, instead focus now, focus on what you're doing, and what you are.

But never neglect your future, think of the consequences, think of how it'll affect your future.

Remember to prepare for the future, but never focus on it.

_______

Well that's pretty much it, I never wanted to rant but its nice to express your opinion

Remember, you're loved, you're special, you're worth it, and you are perfect just the way you are, but there's always room for improvement.

Be brave and face your problems.

So now I'm celebrating my birthday by eating icecream cake alone in my room while reading smutty fanfics.
