"Oh great she's doing it again" Gladion mumbled, he and Silver strolling into Hilda's living room.
They found her wrapped in a blanket, sitting on her couch eating ice cream out of the container, and watching Pyroar King 2.
"Hilda you have to stop doing this to yourself" Silver said, taking a seat next to the heartbroken teen.
Hilda sniffled, tears streaming down her face, "B-But I miss him!" She hiccuped.
Gladion sat on the other side of Hilda, "Why did you even break up?"
"He...didn't respect the squad" She explained, though it sounded more like a question.
"It sounds like you don't even know why you broke up" Silver said.
"What happened exactly when you broke up?" Gladion asked.
Hilda sniffled, "W-Well he said I was going out a lot without telling him where I was going"
"Well you were" Gladion agreed. Silver shot him a glare, clearly still angry with the blonde.
"But I told him I don't need to tell him everything..."
"I don't need to tell you where I'm going all the time!" Hilda yelled, "You're not my dad!"
"I am not trying to be your dad, Hilda!" N barked, "I just worry that..."
"That what?" Hilda hissed.
N shifted his weight uncomfortably, "Well...I know you have been hanging out with Silver and Gladion a lot-"
"-You're worried about the boys who are like 5 years younger than me?"
"Well, no, but you have been hanging out with them and even Cheren a lot-"
"-Do you think I'm cheating on you with Cheren?!"
"N-No!"
"You do don't you?!"
"Hilda-"
"If that's what you think then maybe..."
"Maybe what?"
"Maybe you should leave" Hilda sighed.
N paused, "What?"
"Leave. Go. Away"
N looked like someone had just stomped on his heart, "Hilda please! Let me explain!" he begged, reaching to touch her.
Hilda pulled herself away, "-Just go!"
Hilda sobbed as she retold what had happened.
"Well I think, I think you overreacted" Gladion said.
Silver sent Gladion another glare.
Gladion shrugged, "I think that's a stupid reason to break up"
"I think you're stupid" Hilda muttered.
"She's lost her edge" Silver sighed.
Hilda glanced at the tv to find the "Love will find a way" scene playing. The song made her cry harder, but sound didn't escape her lips.
"Look, I don't think you should've dumped him" Gladion said.
"He didn't trust her" Silver argued.
"I don't think it's that. I think he's jealous that you're spending so much time with us or Cheren, and you're not spending any with him"
Hilda looked at her edgelord friend sadly, "You think that's it?"
Gladion nodded, "You probably should've heard him out"
Hilda looked down at the melted ice cream, "Silver? What do you think?" She asked.
"I think that if you love him, you'll actually listen to him" Silver said, suddenly taking Gladion's side.
Hilda started at the ice cream for awhile before finally looking up at the tv screen where the song had just ended.
"I think I will listen"
