M shift,  which stands for mental shift is bringing out your inner mer from your behaviour and your attitude.

Some ideas are:
•be more in touch with water
• swim more often
• decorate your room to an ocean scenery
• wear ocean colours or things that remind you of the sea
• Go to the ocean more (OBVIOUSLY)
• maintain a seafood diet, fish, fruit,
• have a mermaid diary
• watch shows and movies with mermaids, h20 and mako mermaids are great examples
• talk/think about the ocean/water more
• wear your hair down as much as possible
• sing a lot more or hum tunes, but tell people you can't sing in front of them

Those are some ideas, with mental shift you will let your mermaid side take over, you will slowly lose your humanity. You will know you have reached this stage when:

•you crave or long for the ocean
•you hate legs
•hate humans and think there weird
•anxiety/depression
• phantom tail
• solitude/ start turning anti social
•feel out of place
