F shift also known as fantasy shifting-
shifting is like creating a character for a story. so for your creative minds out there, you may want to grab a sketchbook or loose paper, basically you are gonna create yourself as a mermaid.
take a piece of paper and write down "hair colour, tail colour, eye colour, skin colour"this is your physical appearance, what you are gonna focus on when you physical shift. For example it wil look something like this:
hair colour: white
tail colour: gold
eye colour: green
skin colour: pale blue
these things will contribute as a camouflage in your environment. you may want to add details like, "small fluke at the bottom, side fins."or "gills on the neck"even things like "elf ears"some vital things, like a thin, transparent, layer over the eyes to protect you while swimming, or your tail shape and form will be important. Will your tail be for speed or complex for camouflage? these things you focus on when you are shifting, so you bring them out. remember, start with smaller things when you begin to shift. dont automatically start to try shift your tail. Start by shifting your eyes or your hair first.
Next you can decide where you want to live when you are a mermaid. Do you live in the deep sea? are you a traveler? do you live in a lake? or do you live the tropical waters? its all up to you. What do you eat? do you stick mainly to fruits and other small things on land? or do you hunt and catch fish? how will your diet shape your tail? are you a land dweller, and live half on land and in the sea?
now take out a blank piece of paper. draw waht you look like as a mermaid. visualise it. hang it somewhere where you will see it everday. fantasy shifting really takes the fantasy element to a level because its creating in your head what you want to be.
