It was Friday and Betty had plans to go meet Jughead at Pop's and then go to the serpent bar to meet some of the serpents.
Betty decided to go to Southside high to meet Jughead before dinner. She was getting ready and pulled her hair out of her usual ponytail. She watched her golden curls fall to her shoulders playfully. She grabbed a necklace that Jug gave her and put it on. She walked out of her house.
She walked into the school wearing a red flannel and Jughead's 'S' shirt and kaki skirt with black flats. Her bright green eyes shining confidently as she walked down the hall. People were eyeing her up and down.
"Fly off. I'm Jughead's girl." Betty said sharply. She heard someone whistle behind her and yell "You go girl"
Betty smiled and kept walking down the hall confidently.
Jughead had made fun of her the last couple of times she visited the high school. Betty knew he was doing it because he was in front of his friends, but Betty was done with it.
You are done with being treated like your stupid Betty. Let's tear down his wall along with all of his friends. Let's show him whose boss.
Betty walked up to Jughead and his friends.
Toni wasn't there to calm the sizzle, but Betty was glad.
The tallest one stepped out and said "Oh look it's Beth again. Here to try and boyfriend to walk out of the school with you." When he said boyfriend he put his hands up and did quotation marks.
Ooooh he's gonna get it.
"Actually for your information Mr. Beanstalk, the names Betty. So sorry that your memory is the same as a tator-tot's. Now as for you." Betty turned to Jughead. Your turn mister.
"I know you are just acting rude around your friends to act cool, but I am not buying it. Sorry but your tough facade is not tricking me. That insecure sad boy is still in there."
"Bet-"
"Save it Jug. Don't think I don't know about that grope session with a bisexual who is more into girls after I broke up with you. Just in case you didn't know I did that so the black hood wouldn't kill you."
Jughead friends cringed at the words Black, and hood.
Jughead was stunned. He had no words.
"Betty-"
Betty put her finger on his lips and whispered in his ear, "Stop talking. I know what you say about me, and I know you don't mean it. It still hurts. Meet me at Pop's weirdo." She said the last part aloud.
The other serpents were shocked, but they could see the glint of attraction in both of their eyes as she talked to him.
She winked and walked away. Betty felt so good about herself right now. Jughead was secretly loving the badass Betty, and thought it was so hot. He admired how amazing she looked in his things. She was so gorgeous.
"Wowza" the tall one said, shocked.

Jughead walked into Pops. He scanned the room for his girl. His eyes fell upon the blonde beauty sitting in a booth in the corner.
She got up as soon as their eyes met as ran over to him. She cupped his face in her hands and kissed him passionately.
They sat down and started talking.
After they finished their food, Jughead finally got the courage to say, "Betty. You look pretty gorgeous today. Especially when protecting yourself in front of judgmental serpents. I hope you can forgive me for my previous behavior. "
"Of course I can, Jug." Betty smiled, her features laced with confidence and love. "So you like the confident, badass Betty?"
"Well yeah Betty. Of course I do. It's actually really attractive."
Betty grabbed his arm and said, "There's more to that character than just trash talk." Betty winked and pulled Jughead out of Pop's.
