Basically Betty went to college, but Jughead didn't. They stopped talking and 'moved on' from each other. Let's get started shall we. Also there is not a lot of Bughead in this one but the end is nice. Betty basically puts Jughead in his place about what she needs and how she feels. 🙃
Betty was on the plane home from college and so excited to see all her friends, but especially Jughead. She missed him so much throughout these past four years.
She walked up the sidewalk to her old house and knocked on the door. Her mother swung open the door, and shock spread across her face. Then happiness. She grabbed Betty and pulled her into a hug. Alice reached down the grab Betty's bags and bring them inside.
Betty and Alice had been on great terms since senior year and throughout college they would skype and text as much as they could.
"So Betty, where are you going to work?" Alice asked, hoping she would be a teacher.
"I'm going to be at Riverdale high! I am going to teach AP and Honors English. I really want to see the students thrive in literature and writing. " Betty replied.

A few hours later after the mother and daughter talked about everything they could possibly think of, Betty got a text.
From Veronica:
B, wanna go to Pop's and get a milkshake?
To. Veronica:

Betty walked into the diner and greeted Pop Tate with a hug and a warm hello. Then she ran over to Veronica and gave her the biggest hug EVER. They giggled and sat down.
"So, how are things?" Veronica asked.
"Great! My college boyfriend is coming here to teach gym class at Riverdale High while I am in the English room. I cannot wait. How are you?" Betty replied so happy to finally be home and happy.
"I'm amazing. I started a new clothing store in town and I am so excited! You should come shop there! I carry all kinds of things that remind me of my high school friends and even foes. There is a section dedicated to you, B."
"That's so sweet and amazing. Love ya girl."
Betty turned heard the bells of Pop's ding and the doors swing open as the one and only Jughead Jones walks in, arm linked with a beautiful girl. She looked undeniably like Betty, but it wasn't a huge surprise. Jughead and Betty were an Item before and he just thought she was the most beautiful person ever. Now that Betty thought about it, her boyfriend James looked like Jughead, in the sense of bright blue eyes and curly dark hair. He had a sweet tone and cared for Betty so well. She still missed Jughead sometimes, but eventually got over it. She loved James anyway.
Jughead was shocked that Betty was back in town so early . He had been taken aback at how quickly she had gotten over him.
A tall man with dark brown hair walked through the door. He had curls similar to Jughead's, but had a more put together look with kaki pants a white button down and a furry jean jacket with a red scarf. He had freckles and a pair of Ray Bans glasses on.
The man walked over to Betty and she got out of the booth to greet him
"James!" Betty exclaimed, with a look of such adoration and happiness. She kissed him and then gave him a huge hug. The man James sat down next to Betty wth his arm behind her resting on the booth.
Jughead looked down at his girlfriend, Eliza, and smiled.
Betty noticed them and asked them to join.
