A very long time ago, where everything began, there was a kingdom and that kingdom was named...

Well, you don't need to know that yet, you just need to know where they are now...

Mitch Grassi - 25 - Alpha
Mitch walks through the front door of his parent's house, it was the week after Christmas and he decided to celebrate the new year coming with them.

"I'm home!"  he yells as an echo goes throughout the house.

He put down the groceries on the counter and sees his father sitting at the table and his mother standing behind his chair.

"Sit down son," his father says, gesturing to the seat at the other end of the table.

"What's going on?" he says precariously as he slowly walks over to the chair and sits down.

"Am I in trouble," he asks thinking about everything he's done since he's gotten there and in the past month.

"You're not in trouble, but your dad and I have something important to talk about."

"Which is?" Mitch was curious as to what was so important.

His parents look at each other and then back at Mitch before his mother speaks.

"You need an omega," she says her tone laced with worry and pity.

"What? But I don't want an omega, not yet!" Mitch cries out.

It's not that he's too lazy for an omega, he just doesn't think he'll be compatible with any omega.

"You need to have your own pack son," his father says in a gruff voice, "you're old enough for an omega and a pack of your own." He says, staring straight into Mitch's eyes.

Mitch, knowing he wouldn't win the mini argument and wanting to make his parents proud agreed.

"Okay, I'll start looking for one once I get back home." Then he stands up, and walks out of the room.

Kirstin Maldonado - 21 - Omega
"Wake up." She whispers to a sleeping Scott.

"Wake up!" She whispers again, a bit louder this time. "We have to get out of here Scotty, wake up!"

She shakes his shoulders a bit and softly taps his face trying to wake him up where he would make the least bit of noise.

Finally Scott starts to wake up, he slowly sits up and Kirstin's quietly sighs in relief.

"What's going on Kit?" He says a bit too loud for Kirstin's liking, she hushes him before replying.

"Get up quickly, get dressed, and grab your backpack, I'll explain later."

She stands back up from her crouching position next to Scott's bed and helps get him ready to go.

When she decided that they were both ready she reaches for the doorknob but stops when she hears Scott quietly say "wait".

She turns around to face Scott and he says timidly "What are we doing."

She smirks and turns around. Hand on doorknob she replies to him saying happily, "We're running away."

She opens the door quietly and gestures for Scott to follow her through the hallway.
