Third person's POV
After an hour long hospital visit, an x-ray and some tears Mitch was back at his house. He sighed and tried to wiggle the key into the lock with only one hand. Turns out the omega packed a lot more of a punch than Mitch anticipated and dislocated his shoulder, now he has to wear a sling. He turned the handle and jumped back in surprise. Two men in business suits were currently restraining Kirstin to the couch as she kicked and thrashed. Scott was holding a small and worn patchwork blanket talking animatedly to one of the other workers.
"I'm not putting the fucking bow on my head!"she screamed and kicked even harder. Mitch's eyes traveled to Scott once again looking a bit higher to see a baby blue bow on his head the color of his eyes. Mitch's heart melted, that was adorable.
"Yes you will omega or so help me I will-"
"You will what?"Mitch said before he could stop himself. The worker stopped dead in his tracks and looked up at Mitch with golden eyes.
He smirked.
Beta.Mitch allowed his eyes to turn a deep shade of red and stared the worker down.
"That's exactly what I thought, you weren't going to harm my omega were you?"he said. All the workers were betas as Mitch suspected, their eyes turned various shades of gold to sympathize with their reckless coworker.
"U-um no Sir, I-I would never "the beta stuttered.
Mitch growled.
"Liar"he mumbled and motioned for him to let go of Kirstin. When he finally did she sighed in annoyance and shoved the other one back.
"Finally!"she snapped and Mitch raised an eyebrow at her.
"No thank you alpha?"he asked and she smirked and shook her head.
"I don't owe you anything"she said
"I just got them to leave you alone and you're claiming you don't owe me anything?"he said and she nodded her head.
"They were going to let me go eventually"she said and it made his head spin. There was definitely something to this omega and he couldn't decide whether it enraged him or intrigued him.
Before he could speak a beta came up to him.
"Hello Alpha, my name is Arielle and I would like to start off by apologizing for my coworkers actions earlier"she said and Mitch nodded"There just seems to be a teensy tiny problem, it appears that since you've adopted two omegas instead of one there needs to be a pack to support the both of them"she said and Mitch's heart stuttered.
A pack?
That's the last thing he wanted, adopting two omegas was already a stretch but now a pack?
"Is there any way to work around that?"he asked and she sadly shook her head.
"I'm sorry Alpha Mitch but there isn't, we can give you a week to think about what to do but we'll have to take the omegas back to the center in the mean time"she said
Mitch's heart stopped.
He couldn't imagine what happened to them at the center. Both omegas eyes were on him and he couldn't bare it.
"I only need a day"
