Third person's POV
The Kaplan siblings drove in almost complete silence on their way to the hospital. Esther clutched her arm and was biting down on a rag to keep from screaming in pain as her abdomen cramped up.

Avriel was in his own head focusing on getting Esther to the hospital as quickly as he could so she can get better and they can go home.

He parked the car and helped her out guiding her in the direction of the emergency unit. The place is filled to the brim with different urgent matters and Esther had never felt so insignificant in her life.

On the other side of the hospital Dr.Olusola was hiding in his office to cool down. This entire morning has been back to back patients ranging from splinters to seizures. It was starting to take an emotional toll on him, he was tired.
He sighed.

"Matthew!"he called out.

Kevin heard rapid footsteps against the tile and the Beta popped his head in looking rather out of breath. Kevin raised a brow.

"I'm sorry Dr.Olusola, I would have came sooner but I was down the...down the hall printing papers"Matt wheezed out.

Kevin couldn't help but smile, the younger Beta always seemed to make his day.

"There's no reason to be sorry Matthew, you were doing exactly what I told you to do. I was wondering if you would accompany me out to the waiting room?"he said and Matt timidly nodded his head.

They walked side by side down the long hallway turning into the waiting room. Kevin's eyes scanned the room and he froze. No it couldn't be, not again.

"Esther"he blurted out, his voice rang loud and clear in the now silent room. Her head snapped up and even through the pain her signature smirk was recognizable.

"Dr.Olusola"she said and everyone's eyes were on them. Kevin cleared his throat trying to rack his brain for her last name.

Regaining his professionalism he slapped on a fake smile.

"Ms.Kaplan, it appears you are my next patient"he said ignoring the exclamations in protest. His smile was charming but his eyes meant my office now.

Esther walked out of the waiting room smirking proudly as all the attention was directed towards her, Avriel followed suit.

They turned the corner once again and Kevin stopped Avriel.

"This is between me and your sister right now, you can wait out here"he said. Avriel went to argue but Kevin had already shut the door.

He sent Matthew out on his way back to the printer after their little break.

Once they were in the privacy of Kevin's office he snapped.
"Now just why are you back in the hospital Esther! I told you I don't want to see you back here after the incident!"he exclaimed.

Esther narrowed her eyes at him.

"Mind your tone with me Beta"she said and he huffed.

"You can tell me to mind my tone when you go through five years of college and get three degrees!"he snapped and she stared him down, her eyes going a dangerous shade of crimson.

"I don't tolerate disrespect from lower rankings"she said through clenched teeth. Kevin rolled his now golden eyes and growled under his breath, he had to submit or there would be a problem.

"Whatever you wish Alpha"

She smirked in satisfaction and leaned back in her chair.

"Get up and follow me, I'm going to move you to a different room so I can better check you out"he said and she frowned.
