I'll Miss You

XIV

Trigger warning. Violence.
Annabeth.

As soon as I heard Gabe's voice, I started thinking on a plan.

As soon as he got a hold on Sally, my plan went out the window.

See, I was going to distract him, while the others run for it, but I didn't get a chance to tell the others.

And now Gabe has Sally as a hostage.

We follow Gabe out to a big white van. He tells us to get in the back doors, then gets in himself. Once inside of the back, he turns on a light, and ties us up. He ties our hands behind our backs, and then duct tapes our mouths shut. He then bangs on the divider between the front seats, and the back. It's a big metal wall.

"Okay. Now listen here. I need to pay a couple of you back for getting me into prison. And the others, I am going to used to get back at the others. So yeah. I was able to get out of prison because I got some good buddies that agree with me... That I needed to finish what I started."

And then, he hit each of us in the back of the head with the handle of his gun. He first hit Paul, then Sally then Percy, then lastly me.

And my vision goes black.

Paul POV (*gasp!* Surprise!)

I wake up, chained to a wall in the shape of an X. I am not touching the floor at all, the only thing I'm touching is the wall, and the chains and shackles holding me.

I look to my side, and see Sally on one side, and my student Annabeth on the other, passed out. I look around, and see my other student Percy, shackled to a chair in the middle of the room.

I'm still confused about this whole thing, and why this Gabe guy is after Percy.

I look at Sally, and say quietly, "Sally? Sally are you okay. Please wake up." She doesn't wake, but Annabeth does.

"Huh?" She asked confused. Then her face changes, as if she just remembered what happened.

All I can remember is that Percy had some sort of panic attack, and was screaming at someone or something to stop. And then, the only person able to calm him down, was Annabeth. There must be a strong connection between them.

"What exactly is going on. Who was that guy?" I ask

"Oh. Sally hasn't told you the story?"

I shake my head.

"Okay. I hope Percy won't be mad, but you need to know, now that you're kinda stuck in this situation with us. So When Percy was only like two months old, His dad was lost at sea. He was in the Navy, you see, and he had to go on a mission right after Percy was born. Later, when Percy was five, Sally married Gabriel Ugliano. He was nice at first. But then he became like... Oh I don't know.... Maybe like a vicious monster. He would abuse Percy, and he told him that if he told anybody, Gabe would kill Sally. I moved in across the street when I was almost 6. We immediately became friends. Well, I would hear his screams from my room which was directly across from his. I eventually found out, and I would go over there to comfort him. When my stepmother Helen would yell at me and abuse me, he would come over here. Eventually, when we were I think 10?... Sally found out, and called the police. Gabe has been in prison for years."

"Wow. You two must be really close. "

"Yeah well, Even after Gabe was gone, Percy would have these flashbacks, followed by panic attacks. I... I can't talk about that part anymore. He moved here, not long before his 14th birthday. But anyway, he has liked my since we were twelve. I had secretly liked him too, but he told me first. The day that he left school,... It was my first day. At lunch, this kid tried to take my book, and Percy stood up to him, and this kid started to beat him up. Percy went into one of his panic attacks, one that he hadn't had in a long time. When he was back, he kissed me. And then ran. He was afraid I hated him. But I never hated him. I secretly liked him. The next day, he told me he liked me, and he asked me to the dance. We had to go through a couple of obstacles on the way to the dance, but yeah. That's what's happening."

"Wow." Is all I can say. These two kids had gone through a lot. And they're only 16.

"Oh look. There's a clock! It's... I think. It's 2:35 about? But am. Or pm. ?"

Annabeth POV

We have been in here for about two hours, according to the clock.

The door suddenly opens. Two people come in.

One steps into the light. It's Gabe.

"Okay. I get the boy, and the lady. Eddie can have the Man. " He says to the other person. "I have a special guest. I think you know them.
Come into the light my dear."

The other person comes into the light.
"And I get you all to myself Annabeth. Miss me?"

It's Helen.

I might update again soon. But I don't know. It depends on how nice I'm feeling....
