"New year, New me!"
New year, you haven't changed a thing.
You seek change; a daring challenge.
But you're not willing to let go; you lug around your baggage.
You're repetitive with your words, you think repeating it a few hundred times should be enough.
But most have heard it far too many times; it'll be difficult to deceive yourself and us.
If you lack results, it's your fault.
You don't allow yourself to change for whatever reason that may be.
You're not willing to mature and learn, something that requires oneself and has no fees.
No, you're willing to pay whatever for something that is temporary.
We're all intelligent but were lazy.
We lack discipline, so we sit at home, driving ourselves crazy.
Nothing is impossible if you're willing to commit.
But most, sit at home in sadness and shame; something we would never admit.
Tomorrow it'll be a new year.
New memories, talents, hobbies, and fears.
But don't let time grab you by the balls; don't let it go to waste.
Be a better person, make the world a better place.
Seize the moment; time is something you should never chase.
