The words replayed in my head as I looked at him. He had been watching me most of dinner, if he had anything about my family already he must of known I was a freak, a loser and now loner. His eyes were a piercing blue compared to his skin tone and hair color.

"Stormy?" My father called out for attention I looked over at him cutting the staring contest to a stop.

"Yes?"

"Will you show Sean around the house while us adults get to know eachother." He wasn't really asking a question it was more like he said it that way to come off really nice. He was but if it was up to me I would've said no. I got up from my seat and so did Sean. I smiled at his parents and started to walk away without waiting for Sean to catch up once we made it to the stairs I stopped and turned around to have almost bumped into him.

"Im sorry" I had mummered just to be nice

I turned back around and walked up the stairs, I could hear his footsteps behind me as I walked to the second floor. The one I hated the most because step-monster re did it once she moved in a few years ago. Her expansive Marc Jacbos perfum filled the halls and every room. I stopped once we reached the last step and he stopped on the step below me. I pointed to the room next to the stairs.

"Thats a bathroom, and these two are hall closets the last three rooms are guest rooms" As I said every room I pointed to it

"And last but not least thats my father's room." I told him and started to walk down the hall with him following at a slower pace than myself. I turned my head to slightly look at him and he was looking around the hall. He was staring at every painting that was on the gray toned walls. I opened the first guest room door it was done for adults. We walked in and he looked around at the blue gray walls, a queen size bed in the middle of the room with the same color scheme as the walls, across from it was a flat screen that was ontop of a dresser. That was always empty unless someone stayed of course. A bathroom attached it that looked like the room expect instead of soft gray carpet it had cold blue tiles. We walked out and went to the next guest room as we entered he spoke.

"Stormy?"

"Yes...."

"I know you dont wanna do this so I could go back and leave you alone."

"No they'd know I didnt show you around and for all I know you could up having to show up more." I ended the converstation like that and walked farther into the guest room.

This room broke my heart, it was once my mother's office, her writing office but now it was a room made for a girl guest. With a twin size sliver bed with a white head board agaisnt the wall. Across from it an entrance to the room and to the left of the door a tv that on a sliver mirror like stand. There was a bathroom to the right of the bed and the bathroom had white walls witha few things along the walls, The carpent was white and the tiles were light gray. I turned around and walked out once I thought we had been in there long enough, the next room was once my nursey when I was a baby. It was now a room for a male, with light blue walls and dark blue twin size beding. The walls were a very pale brown and the floor was the same blue as the bed it was basically the same as the girl's room just in boy verison. After that I closed the door and led him past my father's room and to the stairs.

Now the third floor was my floor. Its always been my floor while since I was 10 at least, but back then it was more of a play space than anything. Now its my everything, once we reached the top he stood just lookingg around. The hallways were tan with maple floors, the first door on the left about 3 feet from the stairs was a hall closet filled with towels and blankets. After that on the right was my art studio I wouldnt let him in it because it was personal to me and just for me and Carter sometimes. There was a picture next to the room that Sean stood infron of for a while it was of my mom sitting on the beach with a little me sitting on her lap looking up at her. It was the painted version though because I hide the real one.

"Its a beatuy" The words fell from his lips like silk and you could tell he wasnt lying. I smiled at him as he turned around to face me again, we walked down the hall more until we came to my closet. I opened the door and we walked in. I had two closet the one we were currently in was a closet of clothes that I wore but not often. It was light purple with small couch up agaisnt the wall and a three stand mirror in the middle of the room. Next was the threater it fit about 7 people in it. We use to have movie nights with Carter and his family before his parents got divorced. I showed him my room since it was the last one. I opened the door and let him walk in first it was a simple room with just a few pictures. Sean moved around and stopped infront of one of my favorites.

It was of Carter and I. He had on the beanie I stole from him a pair a dark jeans that were hung slightly low on his hips and a sleeping with sirens shirt that showed his perfectly formed arms. I was on his back in a pair of high waisted shorts, with black tights under, a gray tank top with a large cardiagen over it and my combat boots. I was kissing his cheek as Carter was laughing, his mother who had always loved me had taken it.

"Who is that?"

"My best friend Carter." I could feel the tears forming in my eyes and I guess Sean noticed my change in mood. He looked at me.

"Im sorry what happened?"

"His step-father made him move away with his mother. They left this morning."

He didnt say anything he just gave me a side hug that was very awkward for me, I didnt hug back I just stood there and stared at Carter's happy face. Every happy stories has an ending weither its good or bad.
