Not even a few days later the childs bones and burns have been mended and she was deemed to go home. Dumbledore was unable to pick her up because he had 'Hogwarts Business' to do. He didn't know who to send on such an important, and mostly likely difficult, mission. Though he desperately wished he could go pick her up, he decided on Mrs. Weasley. The child didn't know her, and when he told her he might have forgotten to mention that she screams....A lot. He did tell her about her previous life and gave her a picture. It was a picture of Dumbledore and her mother, maybe if he wasn't there but she could still see him she wouldn't be as frightened.
When Mrs. Weasley arrived she thought someone was getting their arm sawed off. Then she realized as she got closer to the child's room the screams got louder and louder. The poor girl, she thought, how could someone hurt something so precious? When she walked in the room she was startled by her electric blue eyes and her fragile appearence. Mrs. Weasley slowly walked to her bed and out stretched her arm with the picture in it. The child couldn't help but shrink back because she thought this lady was to hurt her. Like always she was silent when someone new came in the room. The girl almost started to say 'don't hurt me' until she realized there was a picture. She carefully reached out to grab the picture incase this lady was pulling an all to familiar trick. Swiftly she grabbed it and held it up to her face. Her two favorite people were on it, Dumbledore and her mom. She smiled and for the second time ever she spoke, "You know him?" Mrs. Weasley nodded and quite surprisingly the girl reached out her hand. Nervously Mrs. Weasley took it afraid of how the girl would react. To many peoples surprise she jumped of the bed, and tried to hide the pain that slowly crept on her face. Mrs. Weasley had noticed but decided not to say anything. "Well where are we going?" She had a quiet voice because she was afraid that what she says might be wrong, and she didn't want to hear people if she said the wrong thing.
"To Hogwarts deary. You have heard of Hogwarts right?" Nevelyn nodded her head. Her mom always talked about that place like it was Heaven. She would have said this but when ever she spoke-even thought- about her mom she got choked up. "So what's your name?" Mrs. Weasley was kind, and just trying to break the silence.
"Nevelyn. Nevelyn Laceic Dumbledore." Nevelyn was surprised at how proud she sounded.
"What a pretty name, for such a pretty girl." A blush crept up her face, she had never been called pretty before. "Are you ready? We are going to apparate." Nevelyn nodded timidly. She had never apparated before, but from what the Death Eaters did, how scary could it be? Mrs. Weasley's wand made a crack and they felt like they were being squeezed into a tube. In a few seconds they were in Hogsmeade.
"Why aren't we at Hogwarts?" Her tiny voice said.
"Well apparation isn't allowed into or out of Hogwarts," She saw the confused look on her face, "for safety reasons." This made Nevelyn feel much safer. She didn't want Death Eaters to find her again. After a quick but hard walk for Nevelyn's weak legs they were at the enormous doors. They opened all by them selves and scared Nevelyn when they just missed her face. They were met by a stern looking woman with her hair in a bun. She actually smiled at them and motioned for them to follow her. The lady led them to a large door with a gargoyle on each side.
"Gumdrops." Before Nevelyn's eyes everything started spinning and twisting in every which way. They were led up the stairs and into a HUGE office that she thought to be Dumbledore's. "He will be here soon. He was at a meeting down at the Ministry."
