If you have not mistaken, and if I have not, the previous entry had ended at the point of blood-thrilling-rush

If you have not mistaken, and if I have not, the previous entry had ended at the point of blood-thrilling-rush.. Archie read Veronica Lodge's final goodbye. I'm not going to torture anyone any longer, so let us begin with all the events that had occurred in the heat of a few hours.

"Is Veronica home?" Archie asked, out of breath, as the door swung open and he was met face to face with Hermione Lodge.

"Yes, she is—can I help you?" A brow was raised towards the red-headed boy as he scrambled to form a sentence.

"I—I'm sorry I just really need to see her, it's urgent." He quickly stumbled out as he waited impatiently for a reply.

"Uh, she's in her room. First door on the left." Hermione spoke, pointing to a hallway towards the right of the front door.

Archie muttered a quick thank you and sped walked to Veronica's room, not bothering to knock.

"Veronica?" He called out, when receiving no reply, he tried again, "Veronica?"

"What are you doing here?" And out merged Veronica Lodge, standing in nothing but a towel and her signature pearls.

"I—uh.." Archie was as a loss for words as Veronica crossed her arms and waited expectingly of a response, "Your note, I just had to make sure you weren't doing anything stu.."

"—I'm not, although I really doubt you would've cared anyways." Veronica moved past Archie and sat down at the edge of her bed, ignoring the fact that she was getting her silk bedspread wet.

"Veronica, I—I know I judged you when I shouldn't have, but I—" He stumbled over his words once again, and fiddled with his thumbs as he looked down, refusing to meet her gaze.

"—don't worry about it, wouldn't be the first time." Veronica replied, "Well, I'm fine and all is well in this kingdom, so you can leave now, Archie."

Veronica stood up and headed towards her bedroom door, but in the process her towel slipped and within the next instant Archie was standing next to her, holding it up by the side.

He didn't know what was happening to him, or what was going through his mind, but in that moment?

All he needed was Veronica Lodge, despite the fact that her mother was barely rooms away, he was simply and internally praying that the Lodge's household was big enough for them not to be heard.

"You sure you don't want to see what's under this towel, Archiekins?" Veronica purred into his ear, moving her hand onto his.

"Veronica.." Archie breathed out.

She gave his hand a small tug downward and the towel fell.

The next thing you knew, their lips were attacking one another's, it was like The Hunger Games, survival of the fittest.. Only it wasn't.

[a/n: that probably makes no sense but i was watching young and hungry while writing this and sofia was talking about hunger games so.. idek.]

Her lips trailed to her earlobe, softly biting it, Archie gripped her body tighter to his.

"What about your girlfriend, Betty?" Veronica teased as she fisted a handful of his hair.

"What girlfriend?" Archie lightly chuckled before reconnecting their lips.

No, Archie was no where near drunk that day, and he wasn't high off some drug

No, Archie was no where near drunk that day, and he wasn't high off some drug.

Yet it sure felt like it, Veronica Lodge was his drug, he was addicted and there wasn't a single thing that could make him stop. If anyone thought that was a simple one night stand, you would not believe how wrong they are.

If you thought they'd be a perfect couple, mind you they're not even one. The whole world is oblivious to Betty and Archie, or hashtag Barchie as some say, Varchie? A non-existent trend that will never be revealed to the public eye, not now anyways.

a/n: ye i know it was pretty short compared to chapters released on fate's end • varchie.. i'm trying my best to try and increase chapter lengths on this book but given that i wrote this in about forty minutes, please cut me some slack, i'm quite tired and this was the best i could do.

happy new years everybody! (:
